Pulsar: Lost Colony
This game, is the game trekkies have been waiting for. FOREVER.
5 players, control a ship.
You can fight enemies in space, board enemy ships, visit space stations, go onto planets. everything a space exploration game needs.
It's possibly, the greatest game I've ever played.

If anyone plays, look online for my ship:
Server name: USCM
Ship name: USS Sulaco
normally, it's an intrepid class, cause i love dat movement speed.

Damn this looks cool, I might check it out.
Have you tried Artemis? It's a ship simulator where every player has a different station that they control and you need to coordinate to do anything.

Re: Pulsar: Lost Colony
I've been playing this game for 120 hours and I have really enjoyed it so far. The best possible situation is to meet up with a crew of several experienced players and after several hours of playing finally beat the commanders.
The storyline of the game is interesting and has a lot of potential. In addition the different planets and stations look really interesting. In combination with the intense fights and exploration this game is awesome.
There are a lot of funny eastereggs andbhidden places.
I would really appreciate if some of us could play a round of two together. I've really enjoyed engineering and science as a role, but the others are great too!
If someone would like access to the hidden developed forums of Polar: Lost Colony I've got it preordered in Alpha and I am able to grant you access.
What are your favourite roles?

Re: Pulsar: Lost Colony
Well, I play Pulsar a bit.
There are my ship names/game names:
Game Names:
Firefly
Firefly - no TS
USCM
Ship Names:
Serenity
Serenity 2.0
Sulaco
I will warn you. I'm planning to start playing Ironman mode eventually.
Anyway, I'm a fairly good pilot and captain. Complete shit with the main turret though.

Re: Pulsar: Lost Colony
Hey!
I am always down for games like this. That has always been my favorite; commanding a ship and then organizing how not to die when things dont go according to plan (Right now Silent hunters wolves of the Pacific is my go to game [nothing is like spending 30 minutes to set up the perfect attack on a convoy of 9 ships then only hitting one of them because the early era torpedos I used were all duds], but I would love to get into this. I read some reviews though and I heard many not so good things.... maybe you can clarify.
1)The game is early and lacks content.
2)The game becomes repetitive after a few plays.
3)The game has poor coding so it often freezes/has terrible framerate.
If you could clear those up for me I would totally scoop it up!

Played a bit and liked it, it looks like SS13 meets FTL meets Elite: Dangerous.
It's still on beta so we don't have too much things

1) Does the game lack content?
2)The game becomes repetitive after a few plays.
3)The game has poor coding so it often freezes/has terrible framerate.
Yes, it is still in early phase, but that has got nothing to do with a lack of content. The game is currently in early beta phase, but if you have a look at the state of the galaxy, you can see that in the current phase they have a focus on producing a lot of content. In addition there is already a lot of content in the game, and I can ensure you, that you will always find osmehting you've not seen before.
2)The game becomes repetitive after a few plays.
As stated above, there is already a lot of content. In addition it will take some time to play through all of the roles and master them. It is a very funny process and the community is always willing to help you.
3)The game has poor coding so it often freezes/has terrible framerate.
I didn't encounter any major problems.
