Yager's game from back in 2012, Spec Ops The Line is that generic shooter you never played, but should.
Right now, I'm just going to say, if you haven't played the game and you like shooter, PLAY IT. Reading stuff on it won't ruin it 100%, but it will certainly make it not as effective as it could be (sort of like undertale in that respect). It's a good third person shooter that I think everyone will enjoy, and it is super cheap now. Just don't stop at the two hour mark, make yourself keep playing. Don't let the game win
.
Don't read if you haven't played it

Alright, now that the people who haven't played are gone, this game was really something. After it ended, I found myself questioning every thing I'd done in game and in other games. Every single person I killed poped into my head because the game made me remember everyone I'd killed. It's a really crazy experience. It's a drama in game form and I really like it. The way the game makes you question everything you've done in the game and in other games is amazing. I like all the different interpretations of everything too.

Agreed. I first thought it as a shooter, but ending caught me by surprise.

I enjoyed the game because you actually did do fucked up stuff instead of cliche, "am save world from domination of bad ruskie" when you are instead the pawn doing dirty shit. Another reason why I LOVED bulletstorm, still my favorite game of all time to date.

Yea, the parts near the end of the game were really intense for me, they really made you think about what you were doing, and if anything mattered. If you die right after the helicopter crashes it actually fades to white and gives you a really creepy death screen, instead of fading to black like it normally does.

I played due a recomendation that it was an "anti-war" shooter, I tought the concept was interesting.
Thinking that the "subversion" was that the enemy were american soldiers... when i got to the "famous" scene.
Boy, that was a surprise for me, I wasn't expecting that scene, later from that the whole game downhilled.
Also, I love how psychotic walker starts to be:
beggining: Ok, get the one on the right and to other on the center, 3 seconds, go! *cuts the troath quickly*
Nera the ending: KILL THOSE FUCKERS *kick the guy on the ground and stomp him until he breaks his skull*

I already knew that, but it makes it really interesting that it's the only time that when you die you're hallucinating.
