Who plays Runescape?

Hello people, I would like to know if anyone plays Runescape currently. I started it back in 2006 and have had many LONG breaks. Currently I play in old school runescape, under the nickname "Bird Good" feel free to add me and come talk with me. I also have a level 110 main on the RS3, but I no longer play it because I do not like the updates they pushed in to it.

I still do and I'm 22 years old :O I have looooong breaks too though and my skills are not that good. I tend to go on to level up skills, get bored and then go again :P

There is the old version and they have the current version. I dont know why they dont update those graphics tho! Time to use something different to Java!! :P

Bruh runescape was the shit back in the days. I kinda miss it. Used to play the shit out of it. I had full adamantite (or was it mythrill?) armour but them wizard bitches were too OP. Haven't played it since years. I might start again if I have the time.

There's an 'oldschool' version of the game, it's essentially a throwback to the 2007 version.

And yes, I play it still. Started a little over ten years ago, took a 4 year long break and got back into it. I'm actually playing it right now, even.

Exactly, it is almost just like back in 2007, except MUCH BETTER. There is Grand Exchange, God Wars dungeon and all of the good stuff, and updates are decided by THE PLAYERS. Because players vote whether to what content is added in next update. There has been a lot of cool updates, such as some items like staff of the dead, Zulrah boss and optimization updates.

So if any colonial muhreen wants to start in old school, I will give you 50k starting money.

I've played runescape since 2005, and I honestly enjoy EOC and 2007. I do tend to play EOC more just because I can't leave my main. I still have a lot of the items I collected back in 2006, 2007 and 2008. I played with friends from school and my sister, we used to do all sorts of cool stuff on that game.

Only downside was I was talking to some of my friends about it at school and I mentioned killing chickens. My teacher thought I was a sociopath so the school got told and I had to go to anger management and counseling for like a year or whatever.

Other than that, I still go on sometimes, i'll play for a month or so and then leave it. Its still nice to go back and see whats changed and the cool stuff they added.

There is a deadman mode, where you get 5 times more experience, but anyone can attack you anywhere. And if you die you lose 25%/50% of the XP in most of skills and 28 most valuable items from your bank. It is quite cool because the server just started yesterday, and motivated me to play Runescape.

That sounds pretty intense, Losing that much XP. You'd want to be really careful not to die. Which would be pretty difficult.

I don't even know how long ago it was I played runescape. Must have started at least 10 years ago (How old is runescape?) I have gotten on a few times over the years and had a look. I have fond memories of the time.

Last time I played runescape was about like 2 years ago after a long 3 or so year break. I was so bored waiting for new games to come out that I decided to do some grinding on RS and eventually got myself 99 Atk and 99 Wc. I used to play it nonstop back in middleschool but ever since 2008 it wasnt the same. think my main is like 110 or something but all the new content just keeps me from getting back into it

Yep, and it's still rather active. However it's now split between RS3 (Current Runescape) and OSRS (Oldschool Runescape from 2007). I just like oldschool better so that's what I stick with.

Yeah, runescape doesn't have factions. You however, can PVP in a special zone called "the wilderness". I don't play rune anymore because I hate griding, it used to be fun back in 2008 when I was still a child but now it just boring.

You can PvP everywhere and anyone in deadman mode. Except in cities because there are guards which will ice barrage and kill you quickly if you PK there.
