Is there a reason why we aren't using Arma 3? I mean, it's much more advanced and it's a huge improvement from a2.

Hahhaha no. I find most people who scream arma 3 is buggy don't auctally know what the bugs are moreso arma 3 is coolasf with the right mods and the base enviromental system is godly mainly the volometric fog and clouds.

Arma 2 on the other hand has no volometric fog or clouds and the combat system (Excludeing ace mod) is horrible compared to arma 3. The only issue I have with arma 3 is the armor which is admittly kinda shitty but it's a new feature they had never tried before so it's understandable. The arma 2 heli pysics are not as good compared to arma 3 this is the same with standard pysics and the general vehical systems for arma 2 as it is not as advanced as arma 3. Arma 3 uses hitboxs around the areas of the vehicals for differnt damage output unlike arma 2 which didn't care where you hit it would still be the same damage dealt.

Another thing is that arma 2 had a horrible movement system when it came to buildings in which 40% of the time you would fall off or run through a wall. On the otherhand arma 3 fixs this issue alot compared to how horrible it was to walk up a stair case or climb a latter in arma 2.

You know what, I have a love/hate relationship with arma. I've wanted to play it for half a decade, but I'm so poor that I'm in no condition whatsoever to buy it, or even have a machine capable of running it. These days, I still daydream about one day being able to take part in military simulation groups in arma 3. And then I try to convince myself that the game is not worth playing because of it's slight flaws. I fail at that and resort to binge reading military manuals to calm down. Repeat the above process every week or so, and that's my relationship with arma.
