ALRIGHT! Welcome back to another episode of HL2RPG. Episode 2.
When we last left off the 3 teams were positioned in a room filled with platforms. Crossing only made possible by wooden planks and wastewater below. Something tells me that the wastewater is lethal to all parties too.
In the west side, we have 2 mall (metro) cops with stun batons and pistols. In the southern side we have a pod that just released a swarm of deadly headcrabs. With them are 2 NPC survivors.. Things don't look well for them.
And in the center are the 3 survivors of the story, John, Lochlann and Ezran.
To start things off, the headcrabs start om nom noming the delicious NPC survivors.. They didn't stand a chance.
Survivors turn, they run north while John decides to convince the NPCs to run north. John didn't realize that he didn't speak English and it failed. He moves up half way because of a wasted action. Lochlann decides to unhinge the plank with his crowbar so the Metro coppers can't follow.
Both Metro coppers are on the move. Now isolated from the survivors, they make a desperate attempt to stop them. MPF.C18-UNION.OfC.5109 calls for backup while Unit 03 takes aim with his gun. She fumbles around with his belt only to realize she didn't bring one! So Unit 03 prepares to do something... Unit 03 moves back and starts running, stun baton out, she then leaps with amazing speed, grace and makes incredible distance to the center platform where Lochlann was located.

At this point, all the Human players run north across another plank, Lochlann, being last with pants containing more liquid than the other two decides to discard another plank with the help of his crowbar. He is successful.
Headcrabs turn. They're now on the assault to the Metro coppers. With the survivors subdued and a zombie having been created they go for Unit 03.. But what a terrible mistake. A headcrab leaps at Unit 03's face! But Unit 03 wasn't going to have any of it, she rolls high and tears the headcrab off her face and brutally rips it in half. The blood of the headcrab staining her pure white mask and bow. The other headcrab now shaken with fear that his comrade had died so quickly decides to move in the opposite direction.. A wise choice.
But its not over!! Another pod drops down. The GM rolls.. He rolls low! The pod ends up in the water. Poor uninitiated headcrabs :[
Survivors turn now. Survivors decide to move into the garage containing the airboat. Ezran goes in first and goes in the driver seat. He tries to drive away without the other two but doesn't realize that the garage wasn't open, whoops. Lochlann follows shortly after. John takes out his glock and starts aiming at Unit 03. He fires two shots and hits him in the leg. It does 1 damage. Unit 03 is now slightly more pissed off than she was previously.
Metrocop's turn. MPF.C18-UNION.OfC.5109 decides to call for backup and reaches for his baton all the while positioning himself to jump. Unit 03 positions herself back to jump.. It looks grim for both the survivors and the headcrabs. But wait, the headcrabs aren't done with 03. The headcrab attacks 03!! It does slight damage. Metrocopper 5109 jumps! He rolls high and almost doesn't make it. He grabs the ledge but Unit 03 being the br(ah)o that she is grabs 5109 to safety! Wow! Metrocopper 5109 tells Unit 03 that she knows what to do.. While pointing at the survivors I should add.
The headcrab tries to push Unit 03 off the ledge but is unsuccessful.
Now the Humans are almost done opening the garage door. Ezran tries twice, unsuccessfully to push a small table to block the door. He just isn't swole enough! He tries to eat a power bar to get more power. It helps but not enough.. Urrrghhhh. The other survivors search for tools and find another crowbar and a spear.
5109 gets back up, ignoring the headcrab and jumps across to the survivor's platform and the platform with the door to the garage. Unit 03, after rescuing her partner follows suit. Now the garage door is open, the headcrab is "screeeeeeeing" in the background. Ezran starts the engine and revs it. John gets on the airboat and fires a quick couple shots at Unit 03. It bounces off her head mask like a pebble off a boulder. Lochlann gets on the airboat as well.
5109 pulls out a shotgun and starts aiming. Ezran gives him the finger. John makes sure he isn't between Ezran and 5109. 5109 fires! It misses and hits the pilot's seat and some displays. There are a lot of holes in the seat now but the survivors are safe. Survivors turn again, Ezran floors it and the survivors drive (boat) off into the sunset.
Not exactly how it went but the badassery of Unit 03 was not written lightly in this one.
