So, I can't be the only one who runs into the issue of building up a hive, having a drone make something you don't like and having to rip it down and redo it. Now this isn't a perfect solution but my idea was to make a website (have yet to port it over to a my domain) that has maps of the hive setup so a drone just checks it out/gets assigned to build a specific part of the hive, so a good quality hive can get up and going faster. Also there are tabs for the 3 major groups of aliens (hunting, spitting, and building) under which I will put further order specifications for runners, hunters, and ravages. With the current hive orders system you can just have one paragraph if you want to do unique orders for each caste which would be a horror to sift find your orders.
The orders for each caste will be further divided among the map (ice, LV, red) and high pop, mid pop, low pop, which will all be easily (hopefully) accessible through drops downs and selections. There will also be an evolutions page which outline what I want under certain situations, etc. and finally there will be a queen section with information about me as a queen, 'my tendencies, shortcoming, and a list of raw text for different situations which can be copied and pasted in the hive status. That is also an important thing to note, very important orders will be put in the hive status, so the hive status would be extremely important hive orders with this Website link as a supplementary recourse for better understanding what the raw text orders mean and for having a better understanding of what your specific caste should be doing (prIme example for me is like runners and crushers, two completely different castes with two completely different modes of play, one being a tank and the other a speedy ninja, often get grouped together, at least in some of my orders under hunting castes, and get ordered to do similar things, as giving more complete details for each caste would be more trouble than it's worth.

Now here is what I want to know, first from the admins and mods and hosts, is this legal? Now the hive orders from what I understand is IC, so putting a link in IC is somewhat ya know... bad... that and even if I put it in the ((alium brackets)) they were outlawed a while back in the Xeon rules when OOC shenanigans were rampant in IC Xeon chat. But if this hurtle is allowed to be stretched a little, there comes the issue of is the website in and of itself OOC? I would argue no (cause I kinda want this having out time into dis...) since everything I have written has (which it little... well nothing that's been put up on the website) ) has been written in an IC manner, so it doesn't qualify as more IC information. But then there is the issue of maps and such (as there are no existing complete maps of anywhere, most on the wiki having stuff cut off I have gone through and mapped LV, working on Ice right now,) which aren't techniqually IC information... but most xenos have the caves memorized, there are pretty good maps of south of the caves on the wiki, that and IC wise the drones should know where to build instinctively where the queen wants it. Other data such as lowpop and high pop plans can be justified by the Queen mother (admins) pushing out the data frequently to those on the server, data which is more detailed than just total server population. That and the server is only medium RP so slight and small breaches of RP/IC are tolerable no? I mean the last thing I want this website to become is a meta-buddy hub for shitlers, but for that to happen there would need to be some communication services provided, but the only form of communication that I am thinking of providing are communication services to myself in an OOC setting where individuals who have critiques or advice for me can provide them, which can easily be removed if deemed too metabuddy esk. I could be wrong but wasn't the bar for meta communication and such lowered due to such a large part of the community being in contact during rounds and such? I mean this is far less malicious than metacommunication/talking about IC events in some audio chat program even if you are dead or what not.

The other group/community I want to hear from is the Xeno community. Is this something you would want? Would it be helpful or more bothersome having to go to another tab? This isn't really for people who main xenos as they tend to be very experienced know what to do and where to go, this is more for new-ish marine players who sometimes play xenos who needs more direction and explanation on what to do and where to go. Though nothing will ever end runner kamizkae instincts, mandatory outlines for what to do and help for runners who don't know how to play runners could help minimize this casualty count. My goal is to make this website as easy to get around and maneuver as possible, but let me know your thoughts if it gets passed the first hurtle of legality.
