The Queen Evolution block isn't necessary, the Queen can just say what it wants and if a Xeno goes against the Queen can tell the Xeno to kill itself to free up evolution space.

Or just give them the option to manually de-volve a Xeno.

It's usually better to pray or ahelp and just have the rulebreaker devolved or kicked. The mind may be defiant, but the body can still serve the Hive.

Well evolution progress is dependent on the presence of a Queen so I suppose the Queen withdraw her "strength" from you making you regress. I could see this possibly being abused either in favor of meta-buddies or trolling a random victim, like devolving a Ravager mid-combat.

Perhaps letting the Queen grant permission for a xeno to devolve.

There is nothing that can be done about the meta buddy stuff, because if people were to go that far, they'd be getting a place for the friendo. As far the rest, it's obvious and would probably be easily bannable, and easy to notice.

Queen needs to be able to reserve slots for particular xenos imo, The only thing xenos care about are evolutions, if Queen doesn't have a word about it, she can't reward the well behaving ones. What about instead of blocking everyone, they designate living xenos to T2 and T3 before they evolve? If sad xeno dies the slot is open again for everyone. It can be limited to 2-3 slots, maybe increasing with the Queens maturity.

Plus it's not something new, Queen can tell any xeno not to evolve or stop evolving until her favourites are evolved. I don't see why making her life harder with a lack of proper UI helps. It doesn't help admins either if they have to find and punish xenos manually who disobeyed the evolution restriction.
