Re: What limbs should you aim for as a hunter?
Hands and feet, depending on how you want to "interact" with the marines.
"Memories can be vile. Repulsive little brutes, like children I suppose. But can we live without them? Memories are what our reason is based upon. If we can't face them, we deny reason itself! Although, why not? We aren't contractually tied down to rationality. There is no sanity clause. So when you find yourself locked down in an unpleasant train of thought, heading for the places in your past where the screaming is unbearable, remember: There's always madness. You can just step outside and close the door, and all those dreadful things that happened, you can lock them away. Madness... is an emergency exit."

go for the legs so they can't move much and makes em a much easier kill. I guess hands too but really legs cause they can't move as much.

I prefer to aim for the hands or arms, so they cant fight back.

I prefer to aim for the legs or feet.. If they can't run they can't shoot and you can drag them back to your hive for that sweet sweet impregnation.

I always aim for the arms, because aiming for the hands is cheap. More fun to earn it, I say.
Plus, you get double the gibs once that arm falls off, which is always satisfying.

The real meta strat is to hide in a corner for a few hours until you become a Ancient Hunter, then you just pounce spam everyone you see from across two screens and three hit kill/decap anyone you see.

If you want to be a dick and are in it just for the wins, aim for the head.
If you're more interested in being a polite murder Xeno, go for the arms/legs.
I don't go for hands/feet because it feels kinda scummy.
Generally I go for one of the arms, as it's just more satisfying to remove an arm then it is a leg.

None of them. Xeno are scum q.q But. I've found out the hard way.. Usually arms or Legs. Depends if they have a Gyro or not. No Helmet means Aim for head

Usually for chest or head so the limb I'm dealing damage to doesn't chop off right before they die and reset their total brute damage. Also organ damage is useful, break someone's chest in a group and then wait till they fall over from lung damage and run in and slash them to death

Re: What limbs should you aim for as a hunter?
hands or feet when you don't have as much damage
then switch to head once you can mess stuff up gud
although if for some reason you see them not wearing armor, go for chest
if they aren't wearing helmet go for head
I feel like going for the nose sometime, maybe something will happen

Re: What limbs should you aim for as a hunter?
Honestly I just aim for the chest, sometimes I get lucky with a RNG hit to a limb that decaps.
When I'm a Marine I dislike getting my hands and feet cut off since it feels cheap, so as a Alien I don't aim for the limbs, either I hit the chest, or the head if no helmet.

Re: What limbs should you aim for as a hunter?
head, yo
and not just for decaps - think about it. if you even just give a skull fracture its real bad news, he could drop and get paralyzed by pain and die of brain damage unless another one stumbles on him to pull him out. even if he gets away alive he's out of the action for 20 minutes to get his skull glued. if he tries to keep going with a splint on his head, even better, because hes probably wasting the squad medic's time, splint supplies and painkillers to do it and is still one scratch away from taking big pain hits and brain damage every couple steps

When Marines are that bold, I run up to them, and cut off the hand they're holding the gun in, and if they pull it out again with the other, I cut off the other hand.Heckenshutze wrote: ↑14 Sep 2017, 12:22Warning: Don't interact with marines who wield a shotgun with one hand
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Aiming for groin as rav should have a chance (lower than decap) to cut people in half considering they're getting swung at with giant scythe blades.
Fuckery is the nature of the Eldar. It is the core of their being. Every Eldar yearns to achieve ultimate dickishness in the art of fuckery. An Eldar may walk a thousand paths in their long lifetime, each one a new lesson in how to engage in fuckery. An Eldar that has not fucked in the affairs of others is incomplete, and broken. An Eldar would gladly sacrifice a dozen of its fellows, and billions of non-Eldar, just to experience the rush of dicking someone over with an act of sublime fuckery.

Re: What limbs should you aim for as a hunter?
I like to use tail attacks as Runner and Hunter, what part should I target using tail attacks? I know that targeting feets will trip the person, are there more special effects like this than simply impaling?
