SO i do RP with "Sane" survivors. When i do, I don't infect them of course.Infected survivor is going to die so kinda better not get atached to him.
In order to find out whether they are sane or not, l unnest the survivor and see what he will do for 10 seconds. If he atacks me or somebody else he be deemed Insane and dangerous,and will get infected. I'd also Phychic whisper that he made a big mistake.
If not, then you can RP with survivor and let other aliens RP with it, or may be give special tasks, or may be do SAW stuff. Usually i prefer to make host live in the hive like in The Last samurai and "learn" the way of xeno life xD. So once i spared one crying survivor, so she then ended up shaking hands with ravager, by the time the fog lifted i let her have a shotgun in the Crushed Bird....that was a mistake....because.....when marines came she tried to shoot marines,and she got mortally wonded.I even brought her corpse close to tablefort so marines could at least try to revive her, i believe they did not manage to.
Before i started playing Queen i played as Pretorian like really a lot of times and back then they were like Queen's bodyguards and could chat with Queen. So as Sentinel I kept Suggesting every queen to have "tallhost alive for amusement". Most of the Queens were not interested, some were afraid of admins(aka Queen mother), like they would not tolerate it, and some were like too new to impement it. I remember that after suggesting sparing some host,she spared a SSD host. Everyone was suggesting to infect it,even I,and then Queen said:"look at this cute tallhost",or something like that and some hunter said:"Tallhost are not cute,they are disqusting smelly...(I don't remember the rest)".

While i was playing pretorian I also came up with this Saw plan (nest two survivors in 3x3 room with a growing egg inside).
The first attempt Failed because of some sentinel who kept going inside and nesting hosts.He got banned after that.
The Second attempt failed because i tried it DURING high Population and was Too focused on RP with survivors, forgetting to lay the eggs.(even though some alien player wathing the show said in LOOC:"Who needs eggs when we can have RP").Queen mother told me to do Queen bussiness instead of fucking around with tallhosts.
And the Third attempt https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AL3ZtB-VE_s.On the video it was the third attempt that was sucessful.It was worth it.

Just remembered Dragging some female marine long time ago...she was crying....so i decided to drag her to queen so she would consider sparing her.However the queen was laying eggs. So when i dragged the host near the egg,she got infected.I felt really bad after that deep inside. I kept thinking it over at nights, thinking what would have happened if she did not got infected because of me. I was so bald back then. Damn it it's just a game, why does it make me feel bad.

Also another Ice colony Story,Long story. I was sentinel aiming to become Praetorian, So started hunting for survivors. And I found one outside of enginerring to the north, he was hoping he would stay out of detect range. I did not engage him since i had to evolve to spitter. When i did, I hissed and growled, after that i came into the light, hissed again, survivor did not run away, and he was unarmed.After i believe 3 second of starring at each other i came closer, blocking him completly(he was surrounded by 3 walls and me from the west).Then I hissed again....he was talking something i could not understand.I grabbed him without tackling him or spitting him(i had only 150 plasma for 3 spits after evolving).He did not try to run.As I was dragging him to the Hive, located west of HYDRO and South of T-comms, I told the Queen that I bringing her a Willing gift. She said:"a tallhost?"i did not answer. I also carressed survivor for not running away ,and hissed that i would tell the Queen to consider sparing him.Well he probably did not understand that. As we approached the hive he saw resin walls and doors and started shouting and backing away. I caught him and dragged him inside, just behind the Closed door, and i told the queen to come north to see the host, who was not a threat, that the host did not try to run away.(he just did not want to get hugged). So queen after thinking for 5-10 seconds...just Devoured him, hissing:OM NOM NOM. of course i was like damn....she just ate him....Another Queen not interested in RP. But then she moved though the eggs, went to some small 2 titles room and Spitted him out. So queen was Phychic whispering him something while i was curiosly wathing.Then she got back to laying eggs. I told the Queen i would watch the host and make sure he would not get infected. So i rested near him, after 2 minutes i unnested him. I believe we were lying there for 20 minutes, during that time I said in LOOC that it was good that it was me who found you instead of some bloodthirsty hunter. I also pointed at nest and Hissed: "Bed". Then I hissed every letter separatly. So he stood over the nest and rested on it. I did not nest him.
SO after Quite a while Queen came in and After Phychic whispering him, told me escort the Survivor while he searches for a paper and a pen and she allowed me to "kill" him if he runs away. Later she explained she did not mean killing. So of course we got it without any trouble. When i brought the Survivor Back. It turned out the Queen could not undestand what was written on paper. She then said that Tallhost could not live with us and she asked me to escort the Host to his hive (she meant metal hive i believe). I asked her why, she said too many eggs here. Well with that said Tallhost and I went out.Tallhost went to hydro, i followed. When he was at hydro he stopped. Then he decided to REST on the Table near that chair. I informed the Queen that Tallhost's hive is Hydro. Queen said Leave him be and not infect him. I told him in LOOC:" I So want to be you right now".He answered in LOOC:"I wanted to be me in a long time". After 10 minutes of literaly doing nothing A WILD Sentinel appeared.He starred at us for like 5 seconds, then asked me why tallhost is not infected.He did not wait for me to answer and grabbed the host.I Had my Growl command Preppared so i growled. Sentinel ignored and Continued dragging the tallhost away in the direction of the hive. I tried to grab the tallhost and pull back, while also trying to explain that this tallhost is not to be infeted. But He called me either idiot or retard in return and kept dragging the host away. By the time i finished typing another explanation he was about to drag the host our of my sight. I instanstly BEGIN TO TYPE AS FAST AS COULD as if A gun was pointed at my head. I Told the queen That Sentinel took the host with of the intention of infecting it, and i runned back to the hive, switching to frenzy. When i arrived. Sentinel and tallhost were 2 tiles away from the Egg, thankfully Sentinel was not moving. I went in Started devouring the hosts, trying not to push anybody. So Then i moved back to hydro and i met hydro on the way, she said where is the host, I spat him out. After that Queen stated in Hive Orders Not To harm or infect That host in any way. So we went back to hydro and lived peacefully, even that sentinel was there for some time....that is untill....The Queen decided to atack the marines. When she passed through hydro she told me to bring the tallhost with me. We all arrived to lz 2 underground.Marines Were behind the West Blast(?) Door.Queen Said that The Survivor is an ambassador(she said a word like related to embassy but i don't remeber the right word).When she said that I....taking into account how bold Marines are...I guees you realised that too already, I had this outcome pictured in my mind https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnvE-HDiOgk. I also posted that video in LOOC. So Alien Queen was getting shot when the Blast Door opened, she Build Resin walls and rested, she Told all other aliens to stay back, and then Survivor went out...Queen was behind him....There was nothing i could do. Marines opened fire at Queen,Hitting the Survivor 3-5 times.His death was quick and painless.After than Queen said that THEY KILLED her Ambasador! Basicly That became an IC reason for killing marines. During the fight, I(or the Queen) handed the corpse to marines, as we were getting shot. When We pushed ALL the Marines off the planet and got to lz 1. Queen said she had to go and went ssd. She was replaced. Some asshole alien said to update orders and Queen did so, wiping out all the memory of the current event(i mean survivor could have got revived,the story could have continued). During our Flight on DS 1, I tried to bring up the topic of tallhost Ambasador, but nobody responded. During Almayer Slaughter i did not find the survivor. End of story.

Mmm, the last time I played as queen I started a fun RP with a survivor on Ice Colony.

My underlings captured them unharmed and brought them to a designated cage where I had membrane walls and a growing egg outside. I told the survivor they had until the egg grew to enter into an accord, where they would bring me more hosts and lead others into our forces unwary. I also added in that I'd let my children brutally slaughter all of the colonist's friends of which I claimed I'd captured. (I had not)

Fearing for their life and that of their friends they accepted, and I drug them up to LZ1 just as DS1 landed, where they were promptly rescued by marines.

Long boring boring rp shit that took half an hour later...

This Colonist won the round for Xenos, after leading a group of marines into our ambush, I ordered them to hinder the other tallhosts as much as they could, lest their colonist friends be killed. As long as they agreed their friends would be unharmed. (They were already loooong dead by this point.)

Colonist proceeds to cut telecomms and generally disrupt the marines as much as possible. We won handedly and it was honestly pretty amazing. I never expected a colonist to be the literal secret linchpin to an alien victory.

Best part of the round was watching an Ancient Runner drag a charlie marine passed myself, an elite ravager, and this colonist who is standing in between us all chill. I still remember him screaming "TRAITOR! THE COLONIST IS A TRAITOR!!!"

Ahhhh, good times.

She demanded we all not harm the host, and had a nest separate from the main hive for them. She let the host go, in exchange for them luring more hosts to the hive. So all the aliens avoided them and let them draw people in, thereafter ambushing the marines.

It was quite a decisive alien victory, in no small part to the survivor playing for the other team.

I've been making a pattern on big red whenever I get queen which is as follows:

Go to Lambda
Disable Slashing
HAVE ALL TIER TWOS HUNT DOWN AND BRING BACK AN UNHARMED TALLHOST (or do it myself).
Psy whisper to it "Obey or die. Nod if heard me".
Prevent all facehuggers from infecting it and lead it to the holy Space Violin.
Force it to play Mad World to the larvae until the marines arrive.
Release the violinist, laugh as they eat a SADAR and 3 sentry bursts.

Not like the game isn't already designed to be IMBA or anything. It'd just make Queens have more access to roleplaying stuff (which I, for one, will always welcome).

I dream of a day Xenos aren't low RP. I think having a RPing queen, or a Queen capable of RP promotes it in the subordinates.

I don't play Queen myself, but of the rounds I've played, I've noted that rounds where the Queen RPs with her subordinates tend to be rounds where you see more Xeno players RPing. Granted, there's like, 5 Xeno players that RP, but still.

We spent 5 minutes staring at the drone getting yelled at, then the queen apologized and we burst soon after

I have a macro key M for the Me command on the bar. When I can't immediately get at a marine, especially as a ravager, I rp scratching at the windows, digging grooves out of the glass. Dragging claws along metal to make horrid screeches. that sorta thing.
