I'm not gonna lie, but I think I've suffered spam more as a marine, although your expendability is clear on both sides...

Stun mechanics are the most powerful tool for both teams. In the same vein that marine mains salt over how powerful queen screech is, xeno mains salt over how powerful explosive stuns are.

Look on the bright side! At best, you're the last person they'll use all those nades on because they ran out. At worst, there'll be one or two other xenos that'll suffer the same fate. Let's face it, there's a lot of things marines can order now instead of grenades.

If you're caught by nades you were overextending, plain and simple.

Grenades are easy to avoid and counter. If you get caught it's entirely your fault. Same shit as neuro spit spam, if a marine gets caught by it they were out of position.

I think I've only been caught in a grenade spam once, and that was pulling someone else caught in it out. It's just enough time to avoid, even without a pounce ability.

If you -are- trying to pull someone out, pounce in first.

Grenade spam is fair, especially because it has a lot of tells. Easy to see in the hand. Loud obvious activation noise. And it can FF other marines.

I think mine spam is worse than nade spam. Nade spam is pretty nasty to get caught in if you don't have a crusher friend, though.
