Since the update the importance of supply lines hangs on drones (and carriers too) to keep a steady egg supply to the front

Keep running eggs to the frontline if you have nothing to do pick up an egg and run that shit. Dont sit around making a 15x15 area of sticky or trying to covert ops the alamo.

Dont clear old eggs on the frontline unless you have one to replace it straight away. Keep a backup supply of eggs somewhere between your hive tunnel(if the hivelord has done their job) and the front so you can resupply old eggs with fresh huggers.

Good supply means more captures before death, means more xenos, means a stonger hive for a better tomorrow

I think the importance is more on hivelords making it easier for drones to get eggs to the front.

If I have to run from Queen-Tunnel to Medbay-LZ1 to deliver a single egg I'm probably not going to do it more than once or twice.

I found if 1 carrier or drone is taking a tunnel to the front from hive and dropping eggs in a central hub (like the storage hut on lv near crashed shuttle. The others just have to run from the hub to the front in a chain if its a continuous feed you never have a lack of eggs at the front.

The change with how eggs are planted mean that hive lords are pretty good now, get at least one to set up up tunnels and a carrier and you're decently well off as far as capture goes.
