wow! its almost like the map itself hands a giant advantage to you in the form of a huge amount of time to build a hellmaze in the caves, and then the team insists on running outside of the hellmaze to get themselves killed defenselessly out in the open as soon as the fog's gone! whats up with that?

you know where is a good place to fight? the caves that your drones and hivelords have been filling with sticky resin and walls and shit for the past 50 minutes since the start of the match

you know where is not a good place to fight? out in the open just south of the caves where your drones and hivelords havent had time to build anything, where you will get enveloped by marines who don't have to worry about sticky resin and narrow hallways. ah! the clear lanes of fire they will enjoy! and the ability to call cas!

I was actually one of the xenos that died, not because i rushed marines, but because i tried to save the retarded rav who got CAS'd and i got caught in the 2nd blast lmao

I thought the best strat was to build a thin, useless wall along the river and then make sure the long tunnels are filled with doors so boilers can’t shoot through and xenos can’t retreat through.

Times around now are usually lowpop-- 60 to 100 people.

Low pop is pretty tough on the xenos. There are a lot fewer of them and they are facing more concentrated firepower. Think about it. In EVERY game you have 4 smartgunners and 4 specs. And often 4 SLs (but not always on low pop). But only on low pop do you reliably have all 8 (12) in one location working together. Makes it quite hard for the xenos.
