I don't see many ancient t3s anymore, but I remember crushers being pretty scary- now they are just like a big cuddly dog
Ancient ravs can be scary, chopping off limbs with a good charge, s'bout it though. Ancient boilers don't seem to do anymore damage than normal or have bigger clouds.(I've only seen like one though)

Ancient ravagers are retard strong. I'd take one over any other T3 - prae is a close second.

Boilers that make ancient should be praised for even making it that far with all the things that counter them nowadays but yeah from what I can tell their acid and Nuero are more effective I was insta dead from an acid cloud late game a long time ago but maybe they nerfed it into the ground

Ancient sentinel for me - you don't have to wait 3 hours to get it and it's neurotoxin will knock down about anyone. He's just tanky enough to survive a couple of shots and hurts.

Sent or Drone are the two I run primarily, and are pretty good at Ancient i’d say. Is good and all, though having to be within 3-4 tiles of someone to almost always hit your target is daunting at first.

Ancient Empress, due to pure strength. On Queen-tier pheromones, you'll wreck anything in your path. Couple this with fast neurospit and, of course, Screeches, and you've got the most powerful bean in the game.
Don't forget your ovi mode; you get to have 5 leaders broadcasting your precious pheromones everywhere, and you get to heal beans faster, with a larger plasma pool and shorter cooldown.

While Ancient Ravager is, in 1v1, way more powerful, and a good Ancient Rav can single-handedly take down fireteams or even entire squads, a good Ancient Empress is, ultimately, the better xeno, being able to turn around marine majors into xeno majors. Even as Elder Empress, managed to almost turn around a highpop game on LV, with 5 xenos left.
