Preferred Caste: i've tried to become equally skilled with all castes to best serve the hive, but i'm best at crusher. I was inspired to become a decent crusher after toric took up his staff role and therefore had less time to play. I get to elite most rounds, long as i don't do something stupid.
Playtime: most evenings
Playstyle: crusher/ancient spitter: there is nothing like ramming a marine at full momentum, blowing up a field full of mines, smashing straight through a fob, or protecting a crit xeno or the queen from fire while they get dragged to safety. A spitter: stunning 5 marines in quick succession while a rav and some hunters slash them to pieces.

Hey guys. Been a while since I was last on, but...yeah. Figured I'd late-join the bandwagon here.

While my preferred role is Queen (despite the massive headaches I earn for it every time), I'll Drone or Sentinel when needed. I'll typically end up as Ancient Drone/Sentinel before the round is over. I'm not much of a front-line player.

Known for making the "Nightmare Mode" nests in the caves and Tetris-style FOB's at T-Comms with the fences and girders, and for depriving the Hive of Full Slashing until mid round (1hr. mark) because it encourages rambo Xenos. As a Queen, you either love me or hate me. But, I've made Ancient Empress twice. Once on 624, and once on Big Red...the Big Red incident happening after I was picked to replace an incompetent Queen who kept getting Xenos killed (so you know how long THAT round went on for...good lord).

I want to bump this and encourage xenos to introduce themselves over looc or ooc after a round to xeno buddies, and generally remember to tell other xenos "nice job" when they've done well.

Xeno morale can quickly drop from bickering and infighting and it rapidly leads to losses and kamakazie runs.

Now I know Toroic literally just said to be nice in this thread, but I just want all you runners to know, marines can and will burst out of you if you devour them, the only thing stopping them from doing it immediately is the unconsciousness brought on by a hugger, and after you hear the hugger die you've got roughly a minute to drop the devoured person before they start bashing their way out of you. I'm only saying this because in all the circumstances that I have been in and the ones I've heard of, the only caste that ever dies to this is the Runner.

It happened to me once as a crusher long ago because i had accidentially clicked on myself while pull-slashing someone.

That's why my macro guide has a regurgitate hotkey now. Good PSA though.

Seen it happen to a sentinel, spitter and hunter too.

Be careful out there xenos, your meal doesn't always agree with you.
