PSA: Make sure to drag marines away from their guns

Post by Warnipple » 23 Jul 2016, 05:03

If you some how manage to down a marine, either via spit or tackle and they drop their gun.

Create that dramatic movie effect by dragging the marine away from their rifle. Teach 'em a lesson for not bringing a mag harness and it'll also give you more time to go ham on their face while they run for their gun.

You also make their wounds worse by dragging which assists in killing them quickly.

Except any decent marine always has a mag harness with 20 extra mags and 4+ pistols in their back pack

Your daily reminder that this server is utterly shit for balance, and the hack Apop is intent on keeping it that way.

Or you could do the smart thing and not rambo as a marine.

... then again, marines aren't afraid to shoot into crowds if an alien is in there...

.. On second thought, go rambo, spread out thin.. At least the FF will be lessened somewhat if the marines are spread out some.

Really though, come stay a while. We'll make you one of us eventually. Desire to play xeno may just be bursting in your chest.

except anyone who's played marine for atleast 3 rounds would know we have very limited mag harnesses and its impossible to fit 20 mags on a single person also having 4+ pistols.
Other than that I'm surprised the amount amount of xenos I've seen who just drag marines in a circle around their guns making it so if the marines get up its RIP xeno for them.I thought this was more common sense

What I usually do is drag them off a bit and then stand between them and their gun, because of a dragon in a straight line, they can out run me.

Any marine that does this hurts his platoon in the long wrong.

Nothing quite like killing and eating the ammo mule and all his bullets and guns. Trust me, it is better to take a handful and ask for more ammo later, than to bring a butt-load of em, only to end up being the first man to die in battle and have all your ammo digested by a xeno.

And as a guy who plays a lot of marine, I should know, I been on a warship with a nearly empty armory.. it is a scary sight mate..

I just melt all the guns. I feel like even if you get away to the main assault force, watching your gun melt away as you hold it's unnerving.

This brings up a really good strategy

make sure to have as MANY items as possible, that way you'll crash the server when eaten.
