In dchat, people were giving admins shit for their interference, defending the meta and powergaming play, saying that these cowardly marines deserved to win. Had they been on the sully they'd have countered us anyway, we weren't that strong.

Anyway my point is that moment right there made me see that no appreciates the things that xeno players do, being the antagonists and giving the marine players am interesting game...

Problem is, marines have the wrong idea about being the "protagonist" .. Yes, the story is about them fighting aliens but they're NOT protected by 'Plot Shield'.

Why would you ever want to play xeno? Almost everything is catered to marines. The admins are biased to marines, the marines are horribly overpowered, and xenos are still about as effective as they were with iteration 1 of this server.

There have been no major balance changes to address any of this and marines can just face rush to victory easily with overwhelming numbers.
Your daily reminder that this server is utterly shit for balance, and the hack Apop is intent on keeping it that way. :thumbup:

I'm good at remembering a name, and yours stuck in my mind because you have a strong belief that is utterly out of touch with reality.

Admins being biased towards marines would be news to me, because I'm a xeno main and consider the xeno win rate currently to be too high. I've written about three different guides for xeno, and am pretty good at playing crusher.

Marines just had a major nerf to combat drugs, and testing has been done with cloning removed.

No one is going to take your message that staff have a marine bias seriously or believe that marines are currently overpowered. (many marine and xeno players would vehemently disagree) Instead of doing what you typically do, which is post this nonsense in every semi-relevant thread, just let it go.

Well, hello there, i do play alien most of the time. Main reason is - i hate being latejoin as a marine(starting from 10+ minutes into a round).
I actually think nameless xeno is somewhat good, because not being remembered after your fails is much more important than being remembered after youve done something impressive (nobody give a fuck if you just act normal and competent). Alien team is one where i can try some stupid risky runner plays. Well, i play quiet a lot and i am a tactical thinker and robust enough now, so i would not protest the personal numbers.
Not enough xeno players? You want all those future larvas in jungle to get its player? Like 30xeno at start? We would jump from 60-70% xeno winrate to 99%. Amount of xeno players we have now is alright i think and there is almost always someone who want to become queen.

Nameless Xenos only works at all because Xenos are a lot more self sufficient than a lone Marine is. Queens currently can't organize or rely on certain Xenos outside of their caste. Like sure, maybe you have 4 nameless crushers but you don't know if they just won't all die at the first assault just from that. Or you tell a drone to go hivelord and then you never see them build or they make doors all over. That's why as of now usually the most efficient thing to do as a Queen is just let your Xenos evolve how they want to. If you know a certain person on sight you can help them play that caste better over multiple games too.

Runners are inherently risky due to their low health. Please tell me one play you can do as a Runner that you don't have a decent chance of death.

He means more players playing Xeno, not more actual Xenos. As it is Xeno end up with a good chunk of extra larva after all the monkeys develop. Which would go to all the people playing Xeno, if there were any more then there currently is.
I play Xeno 99% of the time. All castes.

Honestly having names for xenos, perhaps using a limited combination of words to prevent meme names or lore breaking ones would let xenos be recognizable and have some modicum of roleplay.
