The Tale of the Robust Liason

Post by Skane10634 » 07 Dec 2016, 20:51

As soon as the Sulaco begin orbiting the colony below Karla Waldron set into action and requested a meeting with the commander, at the same time she grabbed her safe contents (that being a pistol and tracker). She then proceeded to dump the Tea out and fill the cup with Sake and await the commanders arrival.

"Ah welcome commander, take a seat." Karla gestured towards the empty chair across from her, "Greetings Liason, why did you call me here?". Karla gestured towards the 'tea' and begin to speak "Weyland has interests on the surface that you must retrieve, a certain disc." she slid the tracker over the desk "We can discuss payment after." Karla hoped the alchohol would addle the commanders senses and cause him to accept the suspicious request, her wish came true "I'll see what i can do" the commander said with a slight slur. Karla then proceeded to examine the maintenance hatchs on either side of her office, if worst came to worst she decided, she would flee through telecomms.

Whilst she waited for the marines to retrieve the nuclear authentication disc she proceeded to grow a batch of golden apples, and used it to ensue the loyalties of various officers on the Sulaco. It wasn't much longer before the pod came back up and she retrieved her disc from the marine, at the time the squad leaders were yelling at her over the radio "We went and died for a disc!". Karla ignored them, its like they didn't even know Weyland-Yutani hired them to begin with.

She informed Weyland of disc retrieval and was met with the response "Nuclear authentication disk? We dont care about that! We need the research!" Karla sighed and dropped her head onto the desk and contacted the commander "No Liason, i will not waste more Marine lives rescuing some meaningless discs." Karla took a colonist rescued from below as a guide and went to marine prep taking what weapons she needed without replying to the commander, she was a woman on a mission, and she was not to be denied.

Upon suiting up and realizing the discs were located in the research dome of the planet, she boarded the rasp with the colonist and hijacked it, taking it to the surface without authentication. The commander demanded her immediate arrest, she scoffed and carried on.

Dodging both the MPs sent down to arrest her and xenomorphs Karla makes it to the research dome where she picks up the box of research discs, when she is confronted by a Ravager. Thinking quickly Karla throws the colonist Sun Xiong into the Ravager and flees south to the drop pod which is landed, the only man inside being a MT. She takes the pod back up and dodges MPs by being disguised as a marine, then she arrives at her office... it is ransacked, the whole place burned down, there is no paper for her to fax to weyland.

She proceeds to head to medbay and confiscate aton of paper and fax to Weyland the commanders misdeeds. Weyland replies with a letter saying "Inform the commander that if he continues to carry on with his arrest warrant of you, we will take legal action." Karla does so, and the charges are dropped, however she steals a EVA suit from telecomms and heads to the bridge, informing USMC of the commanders incompetence, the Commander proceeds to try and arrest her again.

Karla getting sick of the commanders shit knocks him out with a wrench puts on bridge lockdown and dives into the disposal. She is then led at gunpoint by the waiting CE who lets her go after he takes the low-hazard suit, she immediately heads to the EVA suit room and takes a suit and a jetpack.

On the surface the colonial marines have finally started to win. Karla knowing that she would be unable to contact weyland and the bridge being under control of the traitorous commander, she flys around to the bridge with her jetpack, and blows open the windows.

The oxygen is sucked out and some minor damage is dealt before lockdown is activated, but shes in already. She kills the CO who is alone on the bridge and announces "The commander has died of explosive decompression, will the XO please report to the bridge." Karla proceeds to unlockdown the bridge and drag the commanders corpse into space, at this point the marines kill the Queen and weyland arrives to evac Karla and she escapes with the research and a few specimens.

I recall this actually, went and picked it up myself, it was pretty neat. I was worried at the time what you wanted it for, but gave it over anyways.
