Be careful what you ask for...

Post by KEY » 04 Jan 2017, 00:37

It was a magical world, much unlike our own. They didn't have technology in the same sense we did. And not everyone was...quite as human as we are. This is the land of Aetheria, where kingdoms rose and fell every other year. Humanity had learned to share this world....with the Elves. They warred for many years. Then many generations. Then...many centuries.

Humanity was a vain species. They relied on sword and steel, and wanted the elves and their occult-like ways to be vanquished from the planet, so that they did not have to share it. The Elves? They were a loving species, and the only reason they continued to fight at all in this war....was because humanity wouldn't stop fighting it. The hatred for their kind was truly greater then even common sense, as there was much bloodshed every year. War prisoners. Pillaging of villages. The Elves only defend their kind, never attacking first...

....Until one night, when the stars hung in the sky in the correct pattern...
....The Elf Queen, had enough of this pointless war. She had seen it all her life, and while her people were loving....she needed to end it. But the Elvish people were magical creatures, and they didn't have it in them to go and attack the humans directly. She couldn't burden them with the war any longer....she couldn't ask them to slaughter. To kill them.

And so, the Elf Queen called her magical advisors into her chambers at night, while she laid awake in bed...

" I can't see my people suffer these attacks...any longer. I've had enough of this pointless war. I...won't let humanity harm innocent elves anymore!" She said to her group of advisers, as they all turned and looked upon one another. Nodding and discussing...
One of them stepped forward and asked " My Queen, are you suggesting we fight the humans? Attack them first? We are a loving people, and it would break our hearts to do this!...."
The Queen grasped the sheets of her bed, and with a heavy breath....whispered in grief. " I know we can not ask them to attack mankind...so have something else attack it for us. Summon a warrior from a realm beyond this one! Bring us a savior! We won't spill their blood with or hands, but with the hands of an alien species....and they will be our salvation!"

Her advisors nodded and smirked, this was a good plan they thought. Therefore, they all gathered around in a circle within the throne room. Awaiting for the Queen to get dressed and arrive. She did within moments, and sat upon her throne in her white dress and with her crystal crown upon her brown hair. Her ears pointed, as she channeled her magical energy into the circle of advisers.

" It is not within our hearts to hate, but we must that of which we must....to survive. Bring us a warrior, ole realm beyond. We need it for our people....and we've gone far too long without realizing what we need to do." She muttered, as sadness clenched her heart....the words she would utter next? They nearly broke her. "Humanity is foolish, and full of hate. We have tried to tolerate it, but....we can do this no longer. Bring us someone who will kill them for us. Wipe them from this planet. Bring us a destroyer, someone who will not stop until all of humanity is gone from this world....please, realm beyond!"

The spell was cast as their magical energies fused with one another....and there was a great flash of green energy in the room! It rushed out of the castle windows and climbed the sky, leaving a tall tower of neon green light....as it vanished a few seconds after. In the middle of the throne room....there was....an egg? It was not the warrior they asked for...
" This...is just an egg! Why did it bring us an egg!? We asked for a warrior!" The Queen uttered, as tears ran down her face...
" Do the Gods hate us so?! Are we a cursed people because we wish to love?! I asked for a warrior from another realm, and they bring us an egg!..."

The Queens advisors all looked upon one another, their elvish ears pointed upwards...."We don't know, my Queen. Perhaps the warrior is inside the egg?..." One of them said, hoping to inspire hope. It was the nature of the elf to think this way. This advisor stepped forward, and aimed to reach for the top of the egg....hoping to pry it open. However, the egg....peeled upon on it's own. As a disgusting smell floated around the room....all of the elves gasped, covering their mouths! " Ugh, what is this?!..." One of them said, as they stomped forward and peered down into the egg...

....As a brown, crab-like creature quickly leaped from it! Wrapping it's tail and limbs arond the advisers face, as they fell backwards on the ground! Panic was let loose in the throne room then, as multiple elves tried to pull it from their face! " Get it off! Warrior, you are attacking the wrong side!..." One of them called out, as they tried to rip the crab-like creature from their face! But it didn't budge.

They could think of nothing to do, other then to try and make it leave the advisors face with magic and levitation...but all efforts failed. Eventually, it fell off on it's own....and the advisor awakend once more. They seemed fine for a few hours, but now they were concerned for the "warrior" they called upon was now dead...after attacking someone on their side! Confusion and chaos ran rampent in the throne room as debates and arguments took hold! But after an hour or so....that advisor covered his chest!
" Augh!....Somethings wrong with me---"
He didn't get to finish his sentance, as a strange worm suddenly burst through his chest...killing him instantly!
" Reeee!" The worm screeched, as the Elves looked upon it in fear!

One of the advisors, tried to exterminate it on the spot! They lifted their hand, and fired a magical bolt of fire at the worm...but the worm vanished into thin air!
"W-where did it go?!" The Queen asked, as she closed her eyes and tried to sense it's location...to no avail! " It was some sort of parasite my Queen, and it....can use magic!" One of her advisors said, as they all ran around searching for it!
But none found it.

Two days passed.
Everyone in the Kingdom was alerted that a magical worm was on the loose, and to report any sightings. People were missing, however. There was not many incidents of missing people in the elvish kingdom, and this was strange. They had been...just vanishing. One after another, in quick succesion and most of them even living in the same homes.

The Queen was disturbed in her chambers at night, as a royal guard rushed into her room! " My Queen...it's terrible! We're under attack!" He screamed at her! The Elf Queen leapt to her feet! " Oh gods, when will humanity leave us alone?!..." The Guard responded with a shaking voice..." It's...not them! It's something else! Magical serpants! They....they're killing and capturing everyone all across the kingdom!"

The Queen felt a chill run down her spine! " W...what?! That's impossible!" The Guard showed her a magic crystal, so that she may see the attacks for herself. All across the kingdom, serpants. Long and black, ran through the night and infiltrated homes. Throwing more of those crab-like creatures on peoples faces and dragging them away into the dark. They were...terryfying! The warrior elves and wizards tried to defend themselves the best they could, firing magical bolts and arrows....but the serpant creatures would teleport out of the way! Appearing behind them and impaling them with their tails!

The vision of the crystal...focused in on one of the serpants. It was black in color. And it had...a dome-like head. It walked around on two legs, and had a sharp tail...and long, elvish ears. They were hardend and black, sharp....as it passed a small elf on the street, it snapped it's head around and screeched! Teleporting beside the elven boy and impaling him through the stomach as it swung it's head and killed it with it's elven ear...

...It was then the Queen realized, the grizzly truth.
" We made them...by giving into our vices! We asked for a warrior of murder, of death...and the Gods have given us such! We didn't bring in salvation...we brought in a new terror! These parasites...they have stolen our DNA! Our magic! We've..we've created monsters!" The Queen managed to choke out through tears...

She couldn't take the pain, knowing she had caused this much suffering...this much death to her own people! She backed up into the corner of her bedroom, where a window was. As the glass suddenly shattered, and a black hand covered her mouth! Fear shot through her body, as her head tilted back...to see what it was that had grabbed her. One of the serpents. A dome-like head, elongated and smooth...as it hissed in front of her face.

...She didn't even have time to react, as it's inner mouth shot forward and pierced her forehead. Taking a bite of her brain, as she was killed. The guard screamed in fear, as he turned to run and flee the room...but the magical bi-serpent teleported. Impaling the guard from behind with it's tail. He let loose a scream, as blood erupted from his mouth, the Queens limp body hanging on the shattered window behind them...

....More guards started to rush down the hallway, their spells charging in their hands and their swords drawn! They screamed a battle cry, as the serpents of magical descent turned it's head...
...And opened it's mouth.
It wasn't acid that it spit. It was fire. Magical fire. It erupted like a dragon from it's maw as it engulfed the crowd of soldiers....killing them all instantly.

The Queen watched it all. No, not the elvish queen. The Serpent Queen. The one who burst from that magical advisor and used her enhanced DNA to rapidly ascend to the queen caste and make what may have been....one of the most powerful hives of their kind on any world. Through a magical portal, she sat in her lair. Dark, and with many elvish people tied up and encased in resin. Awaiting for their bursting. She communicated with the others through the hivemind, and ordered her warriors and drones to continue their attack...with their bodies which were the perfect organism, and their blood which was that of magic.

Nothing could stop them, as a few days later...they had either slain or infected all the remaining elves in the kingdom. When the humans arrived to attack once more? They found empty houses. Bloodied streets. Something had wiped out the elves for them, and for this? They cheered!
" Huzzah! The elves are gone! This world now belongs to mankind!" They cheered in unison, as they started to march back to their own kingdom...
....None of them made it, for following them closely behind were the serpents.
Within a week, there was nothing left of humanity. The Serpents didn't even see them as worth infecting....but they had gained enough magical prowess as each warrior and drone used their abilities.

And through the "Hivemind" they all shared....they could channel magic to one another. Use it for greater feats then the Elves ever could. The Queen took advantage of this...as she opened a portal to another realm. Taking one of her laid eggs, and sending it through...as that egg would travel to that other realm. And then another. She sent dozens of eggs, and then hundreds...into that portal.

...Before she opened another portal, to yet another realm.
And then another.
And another.
...Doing the thing, these serpents did. They weren't warriors, but they did kill. They destroyed. They conquered.
And this Queen serpent, with her access to a near infinite magic, and infinite realms....

...Would expand her hive.
Her perfect hive.
Her magical hive.
Her unstoppable..
...Infinite hive...

...And after immeasurable time had passed....the entire multiverse was full of them. Perfect, unstoppable...infinite...magical serpents.
And the perfect magical plane of existence was here, as every serpent roared across all the timelines and holes in space...
...Towards their Queen.
Towards the "Savior" of the Elven people. Summoned to slay, and to kill. And in the end? They got what they asked for.
There was no more war.

Now that I think about it since xenomorphs inherit traits from it's host...
...and Elves are these peace-loving, pacifistic hippies, would they just end up producing a peace-loving, pacifistic xeno?

Also >dimension-travelling xenus

pls this is terrifying, imagine the amount of fucking power they could culminate infecting all of the different beings they encounter. Elves gave those motherfuckers fire-breath, what if they infected the fucking 40k orks and obtain their scrappiness or Acklays from Star Wars? Think about it.
