Like many before me, I'll take some requests for a story., so I can practice my writing skills. Give the general background of the story and information on the character (Like the personality and etc.).

A small group of marines holding a last ditch effort defence of the LZ, escaping gravely wounded and mentally broken.

If you want to use my character: "Vanechka is a woman whose hobbies include sass, friendly banter, and harangueing, but takes the survival of her fellow marines seriously"

Three marines, a bottle of booze, a deck of cards, and an unknown creature lurking just out of eye and earshot.

"WE NEED MORE AMMO!-"

The marine's sentence was cut short by one of the beasts decapitating him with his tail. As the roars, screeches and killing of the beasts continued, Vanechka noticed just now how the last stand at LZ1 would end: In a massacre. But she kept shooting, killing, doing what she was trained for. Ok, the targets weren't what she excepted, but she kept following the orders and defended their position as much as she could.

But quickly 20 marines became 15, then 10, and now 6.

"AH! MY FUCKING ARM!"

One of the marines shouted as he kept his right hand on his cut left arm, to not lose too much blood. And as the last barricades were getting melted by the acid of the aliens and the healthy became the injured, Vanechka and her brothers in arms heard a sound: The ship!

The PO got out of the ship, shouting at the marines.

"QUICKLY! GET IN!"

The marines brought the injured in, as Vanechka covered them with her shotgun. When all the marines had safely entered the ship, Vanechka began sprinting towards the ship. But just as she was making it, something tackled her: it was one of that red-dog looking things. The alien opened its mouth, revealing another. Vanechka just grinned, and flipped off the filthy bug.

*Bang*

The alien got off Vanechka, and a familiar hand grabbed her: one of the marines.

As the shutters closed, Vanechka looked outta the window to see one last time the colony. No, not the colony, Hell on Earth. She and her teammates just laughed, happy of being alive.
