The screen comes back into solution as a second video starts to play, the man in the suit, the interrogator appears to have calmed down now as Anders appears to still be in a near state of shell shock.
"So missing people you say? How many went missing?" The investigator asks curiously in a calm voice.
"I'm not sure...maybe about five or six people and some missing pets as well, I thought the pets may have been just runaways but the people.." Anders appears to be a little nervous about this subject and appears to be disturbed
"You know any of them?" The interrogator asks calmly as Anders adjusts himself in his seat
"No...just some random people, the thing is most were kids, or adults who had no reason to run away, so as guards we decided that maybe something was taking them from the colony...so we went on that patrol..." Anders says as he avoids making eye contact with the interrogator
"What did you find? How dangerous could they have been to have, as you claimed it, killed ten colonists with rifles and shotguns and five PMCs who had SMGs and a smartgun-"
Anders interrupts and stares at him "We didn't stand a chance in that damn jungle...so many vines and overgrowth, they picked us off one by one, and killed most of us so quickly that I doubt they knew they were even dead, that's when me and [REDACTED] decided to cut our losses and run, the PMCs, the three that were left agreed and well...me and him ran faster than them"
The investigator seems greatly interested now and questions Anders further "What about the creatures? What did they look like?"
"Man hell if I know..I was too busy shooting and running my ass off to care, the one I got a good look at looked like a lizard and a dog, and he decided to give me a little present... He motions to the scars visibly present on his face "and since the seventeen of us were also the most experienced guards of the colony, which includes your PMCs...the colony was severely hurt defensively..which meant that while we were getting fucked in a damn jungle unable to see five feet in front of us, they were making quick work of it I assume..."
The video begins to turn to static as the recording ends
