Edit: I forgot who the XO was during that round, so I winged it with a popular character. If you recall who it was, i'd like to know to set it right.

"Vitals are stabilizing, Arthur, pass me more bio glue, before his arteries start hemorrhaging again." A man quickly dug into a medical kit beside him and pulled out two small sized bottles of the medical adhesive. he passed one to his colleague as they proceeded to work. The man on the ground screamed in panic as he attempted to reach for where his leg used to be. The two Doctors quickly glued and clotted the severed blood vessels of the bloodied stump shut. "Alright he's ready for transport, grab that side, and one... two.. three!" in unison they lift him up and place him on a roller bed, rushing through the Engineering doors side by side, proceeding past the Research Lab's landing pad. Arthur looked at the drugged man before asking: "Quinn what the hell happened to this guy?"
Quinn kept facing forward as he spoke: "From what his friends said on the call, there was an accident with a plasma cutter when he tried to avoid getting crushed by some stalagmite". Their footsteps and the wheels of the roller bed echoed as they ran down the tunnel leading to the colony grounds.
"This has been the twelfth mining accident in the past month." Arthur sighed in annoyance. "Why is there such a lack of safety protocols in the excavation site?"
"Do I look like I know anything that the company gives a fuck about?" Quinn replied, "Pick up the pace, were almost there." The crew take a right turn through a small research laboratory. Exiting the lab through a side door leading straight into the medical bay. With haste they made their way in and moved the patient into the operating room, Arthur activates a built in scanner.
"Okay, there is some internal bleeding trailing back from his severed leg, and major fractures throughout whats left of the bone". Quinn collects the appropriate surgical tools and with a casual tone replies: "This will be a one man job once he is sedated. You can sign off for the time being"
"Thanks Quinn, I'll see you on the next call, good luck."
Arthur removes his paramedic jacket, stepping out of the med-bay doors and walking a short distance through the colony grounds to the living quarters. He see's his friend Edwin, the colonies Quarter Master, sitting at one of the tables chatting with some off duty miners; he usually talked to him for medical orders off planet. They seemed to be having an important conversation, but it was promptly shut out as Arthur entered his room and shut the door to settle down for the night. After running around the colony and tending to injured colonists, he was tired out, and sleep came quickly and peacefully.
When he awoke however, something didn't seem right, the colony grounds were still in the dark of night when roars and screams began to be heard in the distance. When a gunshot rang out, a siren began to blare throughout the colony grounds. Still in his red striped pajamas, Arthur got out of bed and reached for the door to find out what was going on. However, as he began to pull the hatch open, a Security officer fell through the opening. As the officer collapsed to the ground, Arthur leaped back in horror.
"Good god! sir are you okay? What the hell did this to you??" Arthur's medical instincts soon kicked in, beginning to access his condition. He had a knife sticking out of his chest along with various defensive wounds around his arms and legs. Many of his cuts were bleeding profusely
The Security officer suddenly grabs Arthur and began to speak, stammering through his pain: "Pi-Pirates... g-get ou-out... NOW!" Arthur hesitates, then he proceeds to try to drag the officer out with him, he then hears shouting coming from down the hallway. Fear begins to overtake Arthur as the reality of the situation kicks in. The colony was under attack, and he could die, right here, right now. He leaves the officer in his room, and peers outside the door, down at the edge of the hallway he sees a group of armored colonists armed to the teeth with weapons ranging from guns to freaking swords. They are forcing open each door they come across, searching them at random. He realized they would soon make their way over here. There was only one option that didn't involve being captured or killed. Taking a moment to put on his shoes, he waits for the pirates to begin searching another room before making a run through the hall for the western exit. He didn't get far before he heard someone yell: "THERE'S ONE! GRAB HIM!".
Adrenaline spiked through Arthur's system as he heard heavy footsteps closing in behind him. He reaches the exit door, smashing the open button, he slides through the opening into the night as gunshots impact into the metal door. He heard a man shouting something illegible to his ears as he sprints past the devastated security building and into the recreation dome. As quick as he can, he stealthily peers through the recreation door. Dead bodies and devastation are littered throughout what used to be an area of rehabilitation and relaxation. Arthur quickly dashes inside, looking for some direction in what to do next. He sees a series of large storage lockers, mostly undisturbed from all the chaos. He quickly unlocks a vacant locker and climbs inside. He sits down, trying to slow his breathing and relax, least it give away his hiding spot. Seconds later, he hears several sets of footsteps stomping into the building. One of them speaks up in an aggregated tone.
"Why the hell did you shoot your gun!? If that was one of the doctors, we needed him alive!"
"As if a single gunshot would kill a man.. now he's gone and he could be anywhere by now"
"Does it really matter? The colony is ours, where is he going to go? Live in the woods?"
"Whatever, we need to get things back in order... and help the boss prepare a bribe for the Freelancers once they respond to the distress beacon."
The foot steps casually walk away and fade into the distance, Arthur didn't dare move, but he took solace in the fact that a distress beacon had gotten out. Weyland had to send someone to save them.. right..? Lost in thought for what felt like hours, Arthur's consciousness finally faded out. When he came too, he noticed that the colony lights had gone out, but there was a faint light coming from the slits of the locker door. He heard something going on outside, but he couldn't make out what. He slowly opened the locker and peaked out into the recreation area, taking more time to look around. Next to a counter lay a dead security officer, in his hands was a pistol, a really old looking one, like something out of a classical movie. He pried the gun out of the guards dead hands and inspects it. Seemed to resemble today's guns pretty closely, he ejected the mag to find out it was still fully loaded, comforting news.
Suddenly, he heard a single pair of footsteps crunching against some glass from the door behind him. He quickly turned around to the Arrivals doorway, pointing the gun at a man carrying a shotgun. He seemed to have been taken off guard, cause he shouted out in surprise when he noticed Arthur pointing a gun at him. He didn't look like any of the pirates he saw, and his armor was too consistent to be a Freelancer. He could almost be a Weyland PMC from the Research labs if his armor was painted white.
"Who.. who are-" Arthur didn't even have a chance to finish his sentence as the man dove for cover behind a flipped table, out of panic and fear, he fired off a shot from his gun, missing by miles. Arthur ducked behind the counter in time to hear the wood and metal beside him explode into splinters from a shotgun blast. Arthur screamed out in shock as shotgun slugs continued to hammer everything in his vicinity before ceasing altogether. Arthur slowly poked his head up to find the man was gone. He was about to get his bearings before he heard shouting coming from the door he came in from.
"DROP THE WEAPON AND GET ON THE GROUND!"
Arthur's head snapped into the direction of the command to find three more people geared up in similar fashion to the person he saw a moment ago. Except the one in the middle had a massive weapon harnessed to his armor, he wasn't sure what it was. Scared out of his mind he stumbled backwards and fell, dropping his gun as bullets whizzed above him.
"STAY THE FUCK DOWN!" One of them shouted again.
"I"M DOWN! I"M DOWN! JUST DON"T SHOOT ME! PLEASE!" Arthur pleaded, as he cowered with his face on the floor. He heard them shuffling slowly towards him before one of them pinned him to the ground. His hands were immediately bound with zip cuffs as they then dragged him to his feet.
"Command, we managed to capture one of the hostile civies" One of them said into the mouth piece of his headset, a moment later, he turned to face Arthur.
"Alright Pajama man, your coming with us" Then they proceeded to drag him off into the direction of the security building. Arthur's heart was racing in hysteria, he wasn't sure if he was going to be thrown into a pit and shot, or held captive and sold into slavery. As they got outside, Arthur could see that it was now daylight, he saw bodies of pirates and colonists lined up in a pile as men and women wearing the same uniforms as his captors were going through the bodies and bagging them. As they got closer to the Security building, one body stuck out to him.
"Oh god... Edwin.." One of his captors overhears him.
"Friend of yours? Well that terrorist shouted something along the line of 'Glory to the Colonial Liberation' before shooting up one of my buddies.. so we shot him up in return"
"Colonial Liberation.. he..oh.."
Edwin? A terrorist? The Colonial Liberation Front actually attacked the colony? Arthur could barely comprehend all the details that just came to light. He had heard about the Colonial Liberation Front from nearby systems in the sector that had freed themselves from Government and Corporate rule years ago. Other then that he had heard very little about them aside from how they were anarchists and how the Sol Government classified them as terrorists... but now they were here, and his former colleague was one of them. Before Arthur could think anymore, the men had dragged him into whats left of the Security building, a quick look around showed it had been fortified into some sort of bunker.
"Wh-Who are you guys??" Arthur finally managed to ask.
"We are the USCM" One of them replies, as he ties Arthur into a swivel chair. Arthur was taken aback at that. The United States Colonial Marines abandoned the sector years ago, why are they back now? Was it because of whats been happening with the Colonial Liberation Front?
"And I.. am Jackson Dee" he kicks the chair back as both it and Arthur slam into the wall behind it. "But my friends call me, Shamrock"
"..and why Shamrock?" Arthur asked as Shamrock walked up to him, leaning in with a menacing look."
"Because I'm lucky, and you, Pajama man, are gonna answer my questions. First off, who are you?"
"I-I'm Arthur Ben-Bennet.... I-I'm a doctor."
"A Doctor, huh?" Shamrock walks over to a bag beside him and pulls out the gun that Arthur found, inspecting it with interest. "Hm, a 92FS Beretta, not a bad classic. he walks up to Arthur, pointing the barrel at him. "So tell me, whys a Doctor packing heat?
Arthur's eyes stared at the barrel of the gun, almost oblivious to his remark. "Di-did you not see what happened out there?"
Shamrock gives a doubtful look, he turns around, ejecting the magazine as he paces across the room. Meanwhile another marine takes the opportunity to step in threateningly.
"Stop toying around scumbag, why did you and your friends attack this colony?"
Arthur didn't answer at first, he watched as Shamrock tinkered with the ejected magazine, counting how many bullets were in it. He heard him remark how only one bullet was missing before the other marine slammed him into the wall, snapping his attention back to him.
"I-I don't know why this happened, I was sleeping when it began, then I woke up to screaming, a guy fell into my room, then," Arthur's composure began to break down rapidly, sobbing between his words. "I was chased and I just hid in a locker. Hours later I came out, found the gun, then saw one of you guys... I w-was frightened f-for my life. I thought h-he was one of them, I s-shot out of panic, I'm sorry."
Shamrock glances at them, then reaches for his earpiece. "Command, send down the Alamo for extraction, this guy ain't hard enough to be CLF." Shamrock then grabs the back of the Swivel chair and drags both it and Arthur outside south along the colony grounds, past the telecommunications tower, and to the civilian landing pad. Once they arrive, Shamrock unties Arthur from the chair and cuts off his zip cuffs before he and the rest of his comrades proceed back to the colony. Arthur sat in his chair, rubbing at the marks from his restraints. There was another marine with him, watching over the landing pad and the supplies that had been left there.
"Is everyone in the USCM like that..?" He asked the lone marine, to which he replied: "Only the Irish ones". Nothing else was said for several minutes, then the sounds of a ship descended upon them. A large beige colored military drop ship touched down, the word: "Alamo" was painted in white on the side. The marine escorted Arthur on board, strapped him into one of the seats, then stepped out. Minutes later, he could hear the engines spinning up as a sudden acceleration pressed him into his seat. It was like riding a boring high speed roller coaster, and for what felt about ten minutes, they presumably left the planets atmosphere. Soon he heard the engines winding down as a loud metallic clang echoed inside the ship as it landed. The doors opened and another marine stepped in, this one wearing a red uniform and was wearing a bizarrely large set of sunglasses. He told him that the Commander wanted to have a word with him and he had to follow him. Arthur stepped out of the ship and into the hangar, power loaders and crew were scrambling, moving supplies, connecting or disconnecting cables, and loading ordnance. He followed the marine as they stepped into a set of double doors that lead into what had to be the biggest medical bay he ever saw, he could easily have mistaken it for a city hospital like in the books or movies he had seen. Although the technology it had was rather sub-par by his standards, it was still an impressive sight none the less. He followed the marine up a ladder, and out a door, walking down a hallway until they got to a intimidating red blast door labelled "Combat Information Center". The Marine swiped a card and the door opened, inside was a wide variety of computers and consoles. With important looking individuals looking at maps and speaking into microphones and watching screens relaying unknown information. The Marine announced Arthur's presence, then stepped out. A man in a well pressed uniform then approached him, he seemed a bit perturbed at the sight of him, probably because of the pajamas he was still wearing.
"Uh, hello there, I am Pierce Jackson, the Commanding Officer of the Falling Falcons Battalion, your one of the colonists medical staff? correct?"
"Yes, Doctor Arthur Bennet, forgive my... uh.. outfit, I hadn't really had a chance to change when... all what happened down there occurred."
The Commander nodded, "fair enough, we'll get you some proper clothes, but first I want to as-" his words were interrupted by the sound of the blast door opening again, this time, a woman in a business suit walked in, barging in on their conversation.
"Ah, you must be Doctor Bennet, I am Miss Ishimura, a Liaison from Weyland Yutani, have a seat, we have much to discuss"
They sat at a table near the center of the Combat Information Center as Arthur again told them what little he knew. The Executive Officer would then reveal that many of the colonists were taken off planet. Likely to systems under CLF control, Arthur, and a handful of colonists were some of the only ones they found that weren't openly hostile towards them. The Liason would then present several forms of which to sign, mostly in regards of compensation, a leave of absence, and maintaining secrecy about any company operations he may have had knowledge about. Then a doctor came in to retrieve him.
As Arthur was leaving he heard both the Executive officer and the Liason debating the colonies long record of complaints about safety and wages They then concluded that the CLF must of infiltrated the colony and used that to subvert the companies authority. He was then taken back to the lobby of the medical bay, where the doctor began to inspect him.
"Did you suffer any injuries sir?"
Arthur shook his head "No, was just scared out of my mind.. but its a relief to finally be away from all that.. but I do have any important question though.. "
"And what would that be?" The Doctor asked.
"I really, really, need to use the Bathroom... where can I find it?"
