I don't know which is more sad, the fact that I created this or the fact that I actually tried. Until I got to having to redraw the alien, then I just said fuck it.

Hey, new guy on the block here. I am less of an artsy person and more of a writesy person. You may or may not see me actually produce something worth reading in the future. For now, have this thing.

Lunchtime on the Almayer interrupted by a drone carrying some fresh royal jelly. Someone must have mixed up the protein bars with facehuggers.

It's wonderful, you can really see the true emotion and raw horror that the marine in the background is feeling, very expressive. The gently brush strokes on the facehugger to show the details of the grooves truly makes the image pop. And that xenomorph! The subtle yet effective rendering of its position in the drawing really shows how a xeno's spine works with it leaning sideways over the table to talk to the marines. All of this together provides an overall emotionally expressive and awe-inspiring piece, It's wonderful to see modern art take on these forms.
