Maps by Helgraf
This thread is just to display some stuff I've made in MS Paint and PDN. All of the images will be in their own spoilers. Will be updated when I make new pictures or update the pictures themselves.

Re: Art by Helgraf
I drew this one on PDN last night. As you can tell, it's not finished yet.

Updated the map from the last post. I think I'm done adding land. From here on, I'm probably just going to adjust the land borders and then add the countries.

Yup, just used the pencil tool, drew some general shapes, and then perfected them.McRipfist wrote:dude, you suck. Take this shit off my website or be banned.

Nice maps. Is the USA one divided into fallout's commonwealths?

Nah, I just divided it randomly without a thought of what it really was. If i'm ever tempted, I could write a bit about it. Here's the link with the names of each country. https://m.imgur.com/t5JOANd?rNick123q23 wrote:Nice maps. Is the USA one divided into fallout's commonwealths?

Re: Maps by Helgraf
Do you just do continents and other landmasses or have you tried mapping out a galaxy stellaris style?

Re: Maps by Helgraf
Sorry for the late reply, but since I'm posting another WIP map here I figured that I might as well answer your question. I've only done continents and such, and only political maps. I've never tried mapping a galaxy stellaris style.Wubs4Scrubs wrote: ↑20 Dec 2017, 09:46Do you just do continents and other landmasses or have you tried mapping out a galaxy stellaris style?
Anyway, here's my WIP map. All of the current work here that I did, I did in a few hours in one day, so I got a bit lazy when it came to the large landmasses.

Re: Maps by Helgraf
That looks really cool! Are the circular areas supposed to represent meteor impacts?

Re: Maps by Helgraf
They could, I suppose, but I'm not the one making the history for this. The RP moderator for something that I'm in asked me to make a map of a planet. They didn't say what it was for though.Wubs4Scrubs wrote: ↑10 Jan 2018, 18:44That looks really cool! Are the circular areas supposed to represent meteor impacts?

Re: Maps by Helgraf
I've once tried mapping too, but it was for D&D. I can share some of them with you later, if you want to see

Re: Maps by Helgraf
I made this awhile ago but I never actually posted it here. This map shows the direct vassals of the Kaiser of Asendavia. Each color represents a different vassal. The peach/tan in the southeastern part is the Kaiser's land. As you might be able to tell, Asendavia is a feudal monarchy, but here's the catch. The vassals no longer really have any power, so while they technically own the land, really it's the Kaiser that owns it and has all the power. As to why the ones in the west look simpler unlike the ones in the east, that's because those parts of the country were conquered later than the ones in the east. If you have any questions about Asendavia for some reason, just ask me and I will try to answer it as best as I can.
