Is there any chance someone could post a screenshot of the 'pillbox' design?

You know, I'll never understand why engineers always built in the courtyard of LZ1, but never INSIDE the hanger itself?
After all, aliens have a constant habit of flanking via Tcomms, and with no defenses to slow down a rear attack, you often get buggered every time.
I once tried building defenses INSIDE of LZ1, and I have to say, I thought they worked out quite nicely, despite the fact we still lost. If I ever get LZ1 duty as an engineer (or become CO for a round), I might try to encourage building inside of LZ1 more and see how that alters the meta.

A good bet is to usually just have 1 engineer work on the interior defenses while all the other engineers work on the outside. Put a turret and 5 sandbags against the tcomms wall, then use your remaining metal to build a layer of defenses inside in case a full retreat is needed. Interior defenses aren't as effective since lz1 got nerfed, as a properly built killzone used to be able to turn the tide of the battle. Now they generally serve more as a barrier to prevent marines from getting slaughtered on the retreat.Renomaki wrote: ↑26 Oct 2017, 16:40You know, I'll never understand why engineers always built in the courtyard of LZ1, but never INSIDE the hanger itself?
