Throwing knives good or bad?what are your thoughts?(Discussion)

It gets amusing when you throw them at xenos.

Its hilarious, and I do it often just running around with melee weapons and throwing knives against xenos, but its pretty worthless. Very fun though.

The only ever time I've escaped after being captured by the xenos was using a throwing knife and my nightraider knife.
I stabbed the alien guarding me with the nightraider but it melted and the alien downed me, then the next time I got up I threw my throwing knife at the alien....which actually worked it died or went down so I picked up my knife and stabbed it repeatedly until it was definitely dead. Then I ran out the hive and instead of being recaptured as there were aliens chasing me I shot myself with a shotgun
