The Elements of Domination

Post by SagaSword » 30 Jun 2017, 08:20

How long has it been since you've sat with yourself when you die a horrible death by xenos, and rather than just salt it out think of why are the marines losing most of the rounds. Well, If you're too lazy of an Airhead to find it for yourself I've spared you the shenanigans of that to present you...
The Elements of Domination! Now then, Let's begin with the Elements of Winning for Xenomorphs

Now that we are done with that let's move on to the Elements which could lead to the winning of Marines "IF" they actually make use of it, and to your surprise marines have more opportunities to win the round than the Xenomorphs, and you will find out right now.

Now I've done my duty as a loyal guinea pig and gave you the main tips of survival, whether you follow it or not it's your choice. But I would really hate if the aliens get 1 in a millionth chance to breach Almayer because it would ruin the fun for MPs and other Ship RP crew, so try not to be too strict about it ;)

Having an SL place an OB under a flare box with their helmet nearby during a retreat. Watch as the xeno don't notice and get sent straight to ASS BLAST USA by an SO keeping an eye on the helmet cam.

Its my super secret final special technique passed down from generation to generation in the Westinton family. Like one of those dying moves an anime character does with the last of their strength. Whenever I'm SO and see an SL getting trapped or needing to GTFO from where they are I have them make one of those for me. Its a top of the line booby trap.

Element of: Area denial

Remember! YOU HAVE 3 GRANADES WITH YOU ALL THE TIME IN YOUR RIFLE! USE THEM! It's both great for zoning and making sure Young Runner (420) Won't come to save that one ravager in crit, since if you land that nade, no one will get near. You also have that flamethrower, MAKE USE OF IT! There's nothing more annoying as xeno than pouncing someone and getting lit on fire. You can die, run and burn to death, run and burn to death in the weeds with a drone emitting recovery after you resisted twice and was knocked into crit regardless, or RNGesus can save you and make it so the first time you resist you'll put it out. Except for ravagers, a flamethrower is a NOPE!

*Trying to Pounce me? NOPE!
*Trying to Pounce my medic? NOPE!
*Trying to enter my FOB? NOPE!
*Trying to plant weeds here lil drone? NOPE!

Area denial is one of the most powerfull tools marines have. Use them!

That's my two cents on the guide.

Imo the difference is xenos need only a few skillful sisters and they are strong while marines need a couple baldie or SSD and they suffer. E.g. if cargo goes SSD. Or power is not set up properly. Or command is silent. Or FF lords. Or medics not doing their job. Or combat engineers don't know how to build.

The other problem with marines is that you need to trust others to help you, but the moment they let you down you are usually dead and everyone has bad experience. This led to inefficient strategies being chosen. E.g. All resources goes into a FOB instead of engineers building barricades to aid the push and mobilize sentries. I guess the main reason is that engineers can't expect marines around to cover them.

That's why I began talking about Commandment ship as the first Element of Success. You can't control a marine to do stuff but if he actually did what you asked him to do this would turn out unexpectedly great on your side. Most marines are Baldies who want to look cool and stylish then run foolishly behind a runner and leave the WHOLE FOB UNDEFENDED! This is infuriating to say the least.
