Key Marine Macros
Before I give you the macros that have helped me a ton, I will explain how to access the screen to create them.
Simply join the CM server > right-click the top bar > client > macros.
What keys you decide to bind them to is your prerogative.
To quickly pump a shotgun, or activate an incinerator:
.click use-unique-action
To quickly activate/deactivate your underbarrel attachment:
Load-From-Attachment
To quickly eject your magazine, and swap hands (for easy reload):
.click Eject-magazine\nActivate-Held-Object\nSwap-Hand\\
To quickly yell CONTACT (North, east, south, west):
Northface\nSay "Contact north!"
Eastface\nsay "Contact east!"
Southface\nsay "Contact south!"
Westface\nsay "Contact west!"
I hope this helps. USE THEM.

*scream for battle shouts when briefing is dismissed.
.click toggle-unique-action (on mobile have to verify this is the correct format) is great for rail scopes, masterkeys and all the other wonderful underbarrel attachments we have.

Re: Key Marine Macros
the real question is whats the macro to activate your rail scope
Found it
.click Toggle-Rail-Flashlight with whatever keys you use and it should turn your scope/flash on or off.

Re: Key Marine Macros
Is there like a .click suit-storage or something?
I roll medic a lot and being able to quickly pull my weapon out of the suit storage would be handy in some situations.
Since I often have to stow it to pull out pill bottles.
Also a bit curious if these macros interact with the pouches at all.
Or if we could make a macro to quickly stow a weapon and pull out our backpacks
The only macro I ever really used was spacebar for .click use-unique-action to pump a shotgun. Though I recently made
some for Me (M) and LOOC (L) so I don't have to go through the tabs everytime.

Re: Key Marine Macros
.click macros now works only with some things of the HUD like unique action and toggle burst fire for example..
And talking about that, here, this macro is mandatory for a frontline grunt, toggling between single and burst fire makes a diference on the battlefield.
.click toggle-burst-fire , correct me if I'm wrong, I have it on my byond but can't remember.

This ain't acid goop you creeps.
I think there are no more 'useful' macros for combat. Maybe for some support roles but I don't know them

Re: Key Marine Macros
I only use the unique-action macro for shotguns and a macro for rail scopes (which is a must)
I havn't seen the need to use anything else as a marine.

Re: Key Marine Macros
You don't need .click for ui actions, all ui actions have a chatbar word associated with them (this is actually how hotkey mode works, the more you know), a macro effectively types whats in the macro and hits enter. .click is actually not passed due to severe abuse.
I'm not sure if Rotate-chair still works, but its a fun macro and a good test of whether a particular code-base allows context sensitive macros (object proximity based).

Re: Key Marine Macros
Real men never use macros, my only macro when I am a marine is "Say "Fuck you!"
