The Most Robust Loadout

Post by NGGJamie » 07 Sep 2017, 16:52

What loadout do you take when you want to bust xeno heads? Not just as like a Spec, but also as says PFC?

My favorite so far has been standard SMG with a backup shotgun w/ gyro. Get back up from a tackle and watch the xeno panic when the boomstick blasts them in the face.

Buncha weak virgins in here dont know a MANS ROBUST loadout.
Either a shotty or Rifle with a stock and Bayonet. Melee everything and stab MANY holes in xenos. Most people just don't know the POWER of beating xeno ass with melee because they're too spooked by acid splash. But just one or two stabs from this will scare just about any caste away long enough for you to dab some ointment on your little bitch wounds and fix that. Crushers turn into the crushed. Rav's get ravaged. I wouldnt get anywhere near a Carrier unless its out of huggers but them, Hivelords, and Praes would all eat the whole ass against this. T2's + T1's get wambo combo'd by a buckshot blast then bayonet or two to the face while they're on the ground.

Bonus points if you carry a back up belt or back machete (both maybe?) though I think the bayonet+stock does more damage then a machete.
Bonus Bonus points if you fight a pred with this. Might need to toss it on the floor and show them that your using a homemade Gun-Spear first but once they see its unloaded they shouldnt be against it.
Bonus Bonus Bonus points if you add a QF and gyro so you can just book it around at the speed of sound shooting and stabbing at an alright RoF.

My favorite is just a standard rifle with a quick-fire adaptor and a fore grip. Super accurate and Incredibly fast firing.

For weapons, I carry a M41A Pulse Rifle with a Masterkey and a 60rd extended magazine for breaching and assault operations. I use semi-automatic rifle fire when out in the open and at long/medium range, use the Masterkey's semi-automatic buckshot blasts when in corridors and engaging at close/CQC range, or switch out the Masterkey's buckshot with some slugs when tackling highly-armored targets like the Crusher. As for reserves, I take six 30rd magazines and a shell-holding rig with 25 shells of buckshot and 25 shells of slugs.

For gear, I take the standard armor and helmet with a gas mask, blowtorch, cable coil, first aid pouch, flare box and an additional MRE for the field. Nothing too fancy, but it will get the job done fairly nicely. Might take an advanced first aid kit if Medical is open.

Machete on back, Machete on belt, two Machete in hands. Fill all remaining inventory space with throwing knives, you have now become the ultimate killing machine, let none stand in your way.

Bonus points if you can get some FUN combat drugs from the CMO.

My load out?

Okay so what's I usually bring with me as a Regular marine:
Good ol'M41a mk2 with a extended barrel, red dot and a masterkey.
A ammo belt filled with 5 m41a mags.
Medium general pouch with a m41a mag and a handfull of buckshot.
A First Aid pouch with Tricod, Bandages and Ointments.
A Throwing shiv in my helmet and a pack of cigs with a lighter.
In my bag: a box of buckshot, A flare pack, a Magnum with two extra clips, and some cable coils.
Also some tricod in my armor slot.
I'm the guy who plays James 'Gunslinger' Baker. That guy who is your Boss/Overwatch guy/your doctor/field doctor/brother in arms.

Rifle, shotgun, both have rail flashlights and bayonets out of prep, which I typically replace with an extended barrel and a masterkey for the rifle.
Flare and firstaid pouch in pockets.
Goggles in helmet, buckshot in armour, rifle mags in ammo belt.
Survival knife in boots, and of course a lit cigar.

A bayoneted and rail-lighted rifle + shotgun combination can be exceptionally handy even in less-than-ideal situations. Good all-rounder which depends on your ability to position yourself well and prepare and react to threats as they appear.

Shotgun with a Harness, Gyro, Good Ol' Buckshot.

This loadout of close range combat is the Runner's death it'self and 2-3 Pointblank shots are usually enough to crit a Young/Mature Ravager or Heavily Injure it enough to make it retreat, When using this Loadout, RUSH torwards the enemy (in the right moments) but stay defensively on hallways, as you will likely fire a single round (wich isn't enough to crit pretty much any alien other then a Runner) before getting violently mauled.
Crushers will utterly fear you, Just make sure to not stay in his tackle range when pumping your shotgun, pointblank it, get 2-3 tiles away, pump it, and then repeat the process. This thing is usually even more deadlier then a Heavy Pulse rifle, if used in the right hands.
Fill the rest of your Character with MANLY buckshot, 2 throwing knives and a explosive Pouch with three HEDP grenades (preferably M15s as it has better range).

Bonus: You will likely never see this, but use this with a Riot Shield in the Back when possible.
Tip: Try to do pointblanks when possible i.e A Hunter pouncing a guy, Fighting against an alien in a small room.
I play Sydney 'Lilly' Wood, the totally not depressed doctor, And the marine Dylan Bell, that probably joined the USCM by accident.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions related to research.

Might as well become the Vendor Marine:
Two backpacks in each hand filled with eat bars and souto.

His backpack on his back filled with cheap lighters in smoke packs. His helmet filled with smoke packs, but with the cigarettes removed and only zippos in them.

Pouches would need to hold cheeseburgers.
