Most Robust Weaponry Thread

Post by Silversea » 29 Oct 2017, 10:05

Whether it be a pule rifle with a few mods, or some obscure black market weapon, post THE most robust weapons in the game, and where to find them.

Double Barrel shotgun is a nice fit, great for clearing out the hoards of undead.

Nothing beats a good old flamethrower.

But the best weapons are timeless.

Good hunting.

Mining drill and plasma cutter.
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

The important thing is that it's three other people who are dead and not me, and said shotgunner now has three shells left to shoot me with.

Congrats you gave your enemy something to use against you. And the banana isn't even a 100 pot blue space kind. You should've just used a blue tomato.

What's your point?Every weapon has it's own strength and weaknesses,And being Robust is actually using the right weapon(tool) for the right job.

M41/A2 Battlerifle. Just without attachments it will eat an elite empress in 5-6 seconds, barely ever misses targets that are close enough so that you can see them, and still accepts all the attachments the normal version does. So put a burst fire assembly and red-dot (because why not) on it and go forth with the effective dps of your 3 average marines.
If you ever wonder when did I really start hating incompetent people read Crab Spider's signature... I was that CMO.

Strangely enough the marines never seem to realize that the very weapon so readily available to them, the M41A pulse rifle MK2, is one of the most robust weapon in the game currently.

It's burst fire alone can put a young runner in crit and it can 6 shot or two burst a young sentinel. A really good thing about the weapon is that it's available everywhere on the ship and on the battlefield, which mean that if you get good handling it you will never feel bad when not being able to get your hand on it like other rarer weapons.

Also... Attachments, lots of it. This weapon has the most compatible attachments making it very versatile to adapt it to every situation literally transforming it into another class of weapon itself to the extent of equaling or even surpassing other weapons who are actually designed for that role.

Here's a few i love to use

High accuracy rifle:
Red dot scope
Foward grip

Sniper rifle:
Rail scope
Bipod or Foward grip (depends on if you like being stationary or on the move)
Skeleton stock (Depends on if you'd rather have that higher firing rate vs the accuracy)

Ayylien Nightmare (My fav):
Red dot scope
Foward grip
Barrel charger
Skeleton stock

Many more combinations are also available but for me the last one is the most OP of them all for my play style. The Ayys really are always doing hit and runs and retreating when their hp is low, which mean that this weapon is perfect for most encounters. It is able to finish them off while they're getting away because of the greater damage provided by the charger and most of the hits will actually hit because of the other attachments. A young runner will be dead before it even know what hits it, a ravager will run in fear when it realize that these 3 shots just ate most of his health, etc. It really is a nasty combination.

HG shotgun filled with buck with a gyro in one hand. a riot shield in the other
All the stims you can inject in yourself at a time without dying instantly.

Custom shotgun is love, custom shotgun is life.

I once saw a CLF leave it for a fucking pulse rifle, sadly some people can't tell true robust power of a burstfire shotgun.
