Tips for playing as a CE/MT?

Post by Steve_Rhino » 07 Nov 2017, 01:59

Heyo, Steve Rhino here!

I love mixing between the roles of the USCM. Whether a standard marine, RO or CT, a MP, to SO or XO. However, some of my favourites are playing as the CE or MT.
This usually involves creating some cool little things at the beginning of the round after reactors are set up.

Such as a medibot for medbay and a cleanbot,
Making barricades in the RO lines for the marines to not be pushed out,
Setting up cameras in the reactors to easily check their progress,
Setting up Airlock doors in req for extra protection against others (Aka pilots)
Sometimes moving food into the dropships (Hopefully that makes it better for you POs!),
Creating a secret bar/Hangout. Complete with food, security cameras to check on reactors.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of another project I could set to work on for myself and the MTs. Something they'd like to see and go "Oooh that could be interesting".
Or maybe a project you worked on, something that made you really enjoyed?

Thanks!

Slipping fascist MP's with water you replaced with your empty space cleaner.
Doing your actual job of loading up attachments onto dropships.
Stealing the booze of course (jk)
Remake RnR too a cool hangout/bar place for all the marines.
Make a field hospital on the ground at the FOB.
Spying on the Liason through his backwindow from maint.

Funfact: last I heard from other staff we delete medibots if there's more than one of them in the round.

I've no idea on the medibots if more than one, but having more than one isn't a good I've from what I heard.
As if two medibots see a person "Hmm, they're injured. I'll inject them" they'll OD them and cause brain damage. So typically one is a good suggestion.

Prefer to be friendly friendly with Req, helps a hellvua lot for projects, if 20 or so points go missing.

But that's pretty good suggestions, Especially the field hospital one! Spying could be pretty fun, just *stares without blinking* aha

Spying the CL is great, once saw him drinking alot. He turned to me and be like
"Don't you have anything better to do?"

Alwayd build bars where MPs can see and taunt then. Only to run from then and eject yourself into space using a space suit to avoid capturing! (Actually don't, or you will get imploded and smited by gods)

Hehe, well that's certainly something to consider! The bar thing would be pretty fun to achieve, though I most likely won't be doing the eject to space, I can imagine that wouldn't be the best to escape (Fun though!)

i normally go CE, not only because you're one of the highest ranking people on the ship and you have the least responsibilities, but because if you get simple permissions you can build cool shit with spare metal.

https://i.imgur.com/wCM6EyF.png a cafe i made a few days ago as CE, it was a pretty fun build.

always make sure the gennies were set up and SMES is all working, before you go and meme around as CE.
