I agree with you here. When I play SO if the SL is Claymore Allister Or Vanechka 'sleepy' (whatever the surname is) it always makes me know I'm in for a nice and easy round.
These two are really good SLs and always instils confidence in me when I see them playing.
Gotta admit I didn't expect to be mentioned, but I'm happy to hear people approve of how I Squad Leave. I am up for any criticism as well cause I wish to improve on it even more.

haven't been active as SL recently, should probably get back to it as its quite fun

I love being SL, it's what I main. I agree ya need to understand how to lead a squad. The way I did it, before I got with Xur was I played 20 rounds of Medic, then 20 rounds of Engineer, I got with usaually 10 maybe 15 rounds in that time with a very experience player in that roll. I learned how as a lead this is what i' dlike done, also knowing that each engie generally has a good understanding of what their doing. Making my job a hell of a lot easier. From then it was just a matter of making sure your orders get followed in general, they do. Thats a hats off to those I've had in my squads before. I like being an SL for me it's not really all that stressful until I get 3 or 4 orders from command once from a Overwatch Lt, then XO says no do this, then a CO says I need you here. So, I genuinely get a little stressed out doing that. But, SL in general is a blast.
