Essentially, post the fattest CAS's or OB's that you've seen, brownie points if you say the damage done.

Last time I called for CAS it took them somewhere around 12 to 15 minutes, I was fighting so I don't got the perfect time.
And by the time it it was ready all the xenos went home

I need to start taking pics of my CAS shots, I've had some really good ones lately.

+1 for the topic.

I don't have a ss of it, but there was one friendly OB today that hit 10+ delta marines. That was pretty neat.

I've been playing PO a lot recently, and while marines frequently yell "Good hit" I never know if that means I flattened the hive or just scared off an attack.

The fastest missile takes ~3 seconds to land so in all likelihood you're not hitting jack unless the aliens aren't paying attention. Good hit most of the time means that you've killed a xeno or two.

I encourage SLs to fake out CAS frequently, helps with this issue.

Same here, it would be nice if they actual callout kills. Or even better give an actual firemission request instead of just yelling CAS over com radio

I got a good ol' gibbin with a CAS laze last night. Lazed a PMC and a Xeno some distance away. My marker was some distance away, however, when the CAS strike launched, it appeared right on top of the unfortunate PMC.

A beautiful sight of there ever was one.

I don't have a screenshot, but I remember an OB that was fired at the nexus, killing or wounding most marines inside. after that, it was an easy xeno major.

Huh, weird, I flew PO for the first time the other day and my turnaround time was generally pretty quick. The only time it was slow was when I needed to get out and reload the ship, and even that doesn't take more than five minutes or so.

That being said it's helpful if you can get the CT and/or MTs to hop in the powerloaders and stack ready ammunition next to the dropship for a quick reload.

If you're flying CASE, it seems obvious to me that you want a cooler on your engines for as fast a turn around time as possible.

Varisia "Firestorm" Lote set the OB (100% sure.)

Gloria Locklear (Or is it Lockbear..) fired it. (not actually 100% sure but it was some Gloria.)

Long time ago, I, Ka'Torag-na Halkrath, Skilled Master Hunter Of Prey, Unleashed an unspeakable evil upon Xenos and Humans! But a foolish Xeno Hunter wielder of robustness stepped forth and opposed me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore a gate of Salt of Solitude and flung em into the world of CM, and took out their Facehugger Capabilities! Now, this Xeno Fool seeks to return the favour, and undo my evil reign and of many other predator predecessors!

I'm damn surprised people aren't using this tactic more often. Makes metaaliens counter themselves out. Worst thing is that scout specs tend to die first, without calling CAS even once.
