Favorite SL?
I'm starting to SL main and I wanna know your favorite SL.
I think I'm decent, but my favorite would have to be Trianna Jesowitz, even though we both main delta so we kinda compete for the slot.

Uriel 'Whitey'.
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

I like a lot of squad leaders but one that sometimes goes unnoticed is Gracie Honour. She's really good at keeping a squad in tact. Other people to mention would be Caryl or William Crimson, and an old favorite of mine, Tyrone Williams.

Re: Favorite SL?
I hesitate between :
- Vanechka, who was my first Delta SL when I played my first round solo (without Dolth holding my hand)
- Uriel, because I like his name.
Both have great individual skills (fighting, leadership AND tactics, they understand what the fuck is going on on the battlefield and do not simply follow the flow, they to change it by making their own actions).
Vanechka is more like frosty, badass.
Uriel is more like an inspiring leader and you like to serve under his leadership.
So.. I'll go for Uriel.

Re: Favorite SL?
Top Five have to be (in no order):
*Uriel- Always a blast to be a PFC under his guidance. Fun rper.
*Kesserline- Keeps the squad in check when shit starts going fubar. Saddest moment with him had to be when he asked me to put him down during zombies. (And somehow he ate every bullet into his skull and ended up just dying slowly from a zombie clawin' him.)
*Crimson- Was one of the first SL's I played with and thus, one of the more memorable. Those mes shall breakfasts are great.
*Cliff- Good banter keeps the squad morale up. Tactics are A-1. Just don't block his way when he's trying to kill a Queen or you're gonna have a bad time.
*Jesowitz- You make running into the hive every round not a salty experience.

I don't have to say anything, Kesserline is probably the best and most robust SL on CM for now.

Re: Favorite SL?
I myself am not one to play favorites when it comes to NCOs. As long as you take your job seriously, I'll gladly follow you into the deepest of hives and carry out your orders.
However, I do miss Xur... He was the reason I became an NCO to begin with. He used to roll NCO a lot, and seeing how much people liked and respected him made me wish I was as popular as he was. So I took up the role for myself, honed my skill, and grew to become a decent leader and tactician for my squad.
He might have been a bit infamous back in the day, and did some shady things, but I have him to thank for inspiring me to be a leader to be proud of.

Gotta say my favourite SL has to be Reno. Very competent, can rouse the squad up to get into the thick of things, and is great at RPing in general.

Damn, I'd have thought all those times I committed successful mutiny, or exploded via FF would have cemented my legacy... or all the times Xur and I pulled victory from the jaws of defeat while Command lost their shit.
Oh well, I'll just go sit in a snow mound and wait for god to take me.

Sorry buddy, I'm quite a newborn on CM, just arrived last august.
If you come back by leading, I'll be glad to have a vet talking and answering to me on command channel to make some sick squad strats.

Last August as in a few months ago? Me too! I started playing like October 8th or something, actually started playing ss13 in general around that time. First server was paradise, second was CMKesserline wrote: ↑04 Jan 2018, 09:59Sorry buddy, I'm quite a newborn on CM, just arrived last august.

Re: Favorite SL?
Yep, few months ago. Dolthgar convinced me to try CM, he taught me the ropes in 3 to 5 rounds, then he went to Africa with our country military, and I played on my own since then.
I never tried SS13 before, maybe 30 minutes on empty servers when I was taught by Dolth (the hud, using hands, grabbing stuff and equipping them). I've just been on CM since then, it was just true love for the community and the game. I devoured the wiki, the lore (initially I didn't like Alien-universe, because I'm scared of spooky-movies), then I devoured the forums, reading many things I could find.
Now, I'm in a step that I want to explore things, finding solutions to existing problems. I'm a bit powergamy on the edge (looting groundside lockers or groundside armories to get better webbings is the usual shit I do), one day, I'll get struck by a banhammer for this, but each time I cross a locker, I can't help myself., I love having more pouches.
Fortunately, the medical update will force me to abandon medical roles and I'll redirect myself back to SLing.
If we're both SLing around, do not hesitate to contact me through command channel, I love coordinating my moves with other squads (having flanks secured, counterattacking, helping, such things).
