What kind of Tactics or gimmicks would you like to see from a commander/XO?

Dear marines of the 2nd battalion of the 4th brigade, the Falling Falcons!

I am a lazy person and looking through old posts about marine commander tactics takes too much effort for me, likewise with writing down a very specific thing to pull ingame that may or may not affect the round for the worst and have our dear marines spark a mutiny that would end with my head on a pike for DARING to RUIN their experience with SOMETHING DIFFERENT and clearly horrible.

So let me ask you!

What would YOU like to see me do, as a commander?(except for battlefield executions, go away.)

As far as me is concerned, I have been managing to play as commander fairly reasonably (or so i think) and have a fair grasp of how things /should/ be done as one. The best i have done is told people to ditch their hats and wear a helmet, and everything else would work itself out if people communicate with each other enough (which requires a constant stream of very loud yelling from me). However ... Its repetitive, to me. I feel like there's more to do but i don't know what.

What should i do to 'improve' or 'change' the round, when i or someone who takes the advice plays command?

Melee only round, marines run in with whatever they arm them self with as long as it is a melee weapon.

Competency

I kind of want to see more officers on ground when the initial FOB is secure. Staff Officers can come too, who cares. Mostly to snap everyone into action as to why corpses are just strewn all over the area where you leave the shuttle and noone is paying attention to them.

FOB'ing anywhere but Nexus is asking for a quick flank.

Give them only buckshot shotguns, in case they wanted to shoot the MP's they would need to get close, enough time for the MP to burst fire AP the coward

It happens when i CO, as well. Poor Delta scouting into the enemy hive and getting raped all the time...

I for one would love it if COs didn't blob up their marines so much during attacking phases. Encourage each squad to attack from different angles and flanks to more evenly spread the firepower of the USCM and reduce FF. Of course, that would require NCOs to be willing to trust their COs and their tactics in the first place, which is easier said than done.

Would also be nice if commanders STOPPED doing the whole "hey, lets load EVERY SINGLE SQUAD into DS1 AT THE SAME TIME" thing. If you only want to use a single dropship, then at least drop the squads two at a time so the dropship isn't a hellhole at round start.

Easier said than done, Marines like to blob up naturally in the field.

No FOB, no briefing, all marines line up at river fog wall, rush caves ASAP.

MPs, MTs, doctors, researchers, grab armory weapons, and join marines on the ground.

Leave Almayer completely deserted. Every living body get to the river wall with a gun. When the fog goes down, chaarge! Not one step back!

CO should personally lead a squad, battlefield execute any who disagrees.

Battlefield execute the lowest ranking member of the squad every time they dont preform to the CO's expectations.

Also yes, leave the battlefield executions to Luke Compton.

From my experience as SL of a few squads, the squad most suited for FOB is bravo, so place them there. Delta will get fucked up scouting so rotate them to FOB if you need to. Alpha should be flanking and Charlie reinforces delta's assault point.

As for gimmicks, become the new ta guy
