What do you typically MAIN?
See Title
- What occupation do you always gun for/can't live without when playing as a Marine?
- What other occupations do you enjoy playing besides your "main"?
- Which occupation are you the most R O B U S T at?
- What occupation do you wanna try but are too pussy to? (Squad leader? Specialist? Staff Officer? Executive Officer?)
*- What common occupations have you NEVER PLAYED?
*- Do you have characters specific to whatever job you intend/play the most?
**EDITED in 2 more questions & edited my wording**
I personally main Squad medic, it's always been the job I've enjoy the most. I have a specific go-to loadout and everything, but sometimes you just wanna unwind from the stresses of the "muh tramadol" spam. I also play as a Standard, cause shooting at fucking Xenos is a amazing way to have fun, and their salt is tasty. I would say I'm pretty robust at Medical, but I had a robust standard round yesterday.
Personally, Occupations that I'm deeply terrified of playing is anything having to do with Command (Squad leader exception) Any minor fuckup you do while playing Command is magnified by x5, and include about 100+ possible pissed off marines, also sitting around ordering people around is boring. Nah, no thanks. The only character I have that I always play is "Greg Calimotski". I use to have another character named "Nathan Krawczyk" but he never picked up steam for me personally to wanna keep using him. RIP #F

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
Specialist and RO, respectively.
Spec is my main groundside role. For me, it hits the sweet spot between being a leadership role and just another grunt. You also get a pretty Coolio weapon.
Sniper main all day boiiiii.
RO for when I want to chill out during the round, get through the initial rush for attachments and you have the rest of the time to fuck around with the other shipside crew members. Plus you still get just the right amount of action if the Xenos board the Almayer.

Alrighty ...
I main sniper specialist for that sweet feeling of overkilling the hell out of young T1s with incendiary ammo. I dont take recon because I can't be bothered to ask for CAS
If I'm feeling good, I go SL. If I'm not that good or just want a chill round, I go standard or RO
If I'm feeling extra good, I go XO. Being XO with good SOs and SLs is godly.
Never going doctor or squad medic because holy shit it's stressful. Doctor even more-so because I don't trust myself to remove a larva in time.

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
Couldn't live without the squad medic role. I enjoy the doctor, specialist and pilot roles.
Considering I'm not very robust, I'll say I'm the best at the squad medic part. Always wanted to try SL but then I realise I'm a horrible leader.
I once had an idea of having multiple character for different jobs but then I came to a conclusion that I'm a lazy git, and now I'm stuck with just one. Always wanted to try the command staff, but it would propably end up in a total disaster.

A failure, also called a semi-competent medic sometimes.

I main UPP. Glory to the Union!
When its not a UPP round I tend to main as Squad Medic, or if the round has not started I'll take a run at RPG Specialist. Sometimes if I feel like a RTS Commander who is masochistic I'll play Commander as my third role.

Survivor main all the way baby
I'm switching it up, but for the most part SL and medic, PFC if nothing else, and MT if I wanna dick around on the Almayer. I've done SO roles 3 or 4 times, but it's hit or miss.
My alt, Valerie Bleigh is a work in progress, but so far the biggest difference between her and Madison is Madison is skeptical of W-Y and Valerie is a loyalist

When I feel like being a marine, squad medic or squad engineer.
When I feel like killing shit, squad specialist beelining sniper kit.
When I feel like being a part of command staff, pilot officer.

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
- What occupation do you always gun for/can't live without when playing as a Marine?
CMP because the law must be preserved.
- What other occupations do you enjoy playing besides your "main"?
everything besides medical roles and CE.
- Which occupation are you the most R O B U S T at?
CMP-XO-SL are the roles I really shine.
- What occupation do you wanna try but are too pussy to? (Squad leader? Specialist? Staff Officer? Executive Officer?)
Medical roles. Once did a surgery on a guy, got him have nocrosis and 3rd level infection that took the guy out of the round for 20 minutes. And he only had a bullet wound.
*- What common occupations have you NEVER PLAYED?
none besides medic and doctors and CE.
*- Do you have characters specific to whatever job you intend/play the most?
Of course. As CMP, I am a punk.
As SL, I am lovingly father.
As XO, I am the one guy focusing on everyone talking and deploying shit.
Everything else I am myself and just act like an truly robust player.

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
- CL is my bread and butter now and days.
- Spec kicks a lot of ass, when I'm not CL I'd like to be a Sniper Spec
- I'm the absolute most Robust CL you'll ever see.
- I'm not so spooked by any of the roles not to play them, but SL requires that special level of yelling at the marines while also fighting at the same time that I'd just rather not deal with that. I like one of the other, kicking ass or leading, not both.
*- I've played all the occupations, but any of the ship side jobs I typically stay away from any that aren't the leader type of it. CT,MT,MP,Doctor. I stay away from those in favor of RO,CE,CMP,and CMO.
*- I use DiscoKing for any role and 90% of the time I'll be him. If Im exclusively rolling for Spec/Smartgunner I'll play Jazz Man. And last sometimes if I'm feeling like it I'll play Old Disco on CL/CE for the fun of acting like an old man.

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
PFC is the only combat role that can rp effectively imo. No booboos to kiss, no fobs to manage, and 'hopefully' no squad to manage. Besides when you run pfc you can use whatever you want and since you won't be in the limelight no one will mock you mercilessly for taking pistols only for that sweet sweet aestheticly pleasing marnine

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
What is my main ? Main SL - Tacticoolest (but break of it because of too much cowardice from the average marine) Delta squad favorite.
Other occupations : Chemist/Medic (Medicoolest), Requisition Officer (Logisticoolest), Spec Sniper/Scout (Tacticoolest), PFC (when I don't give a shit).
Most robust occupation : Spec sniper with gyro sniper. Damn, I'm like a pred-marine preying on T1s and T2s.
I have no occupation that I pussy about. I just have no interest being XO or SO (tried already SO, but CIC role is boring as hell, in my opinion).
Common occupation never played : Engineering MT/CE ==> Not interested in deep engineering role. The only thing interesting, for me, is laying cades as SL/Spec/RO. I let the deep engineer-core-mode to those who like it and can make way greater things that I can do.
My character specifics depend on the rank/role :
- My PFC RP is quite retarded, yet, deeply loyal to the USCM and brotherhood amoung Deltas and then, towards the battalion.
- My RP as SL/Spec/RO/Medic is way more calm, way more professional. Yet, still having that crazy spark that causes great comms with my boys. But yet, you can clearly acknowledge an evolution between PFC's RP and Spec/SL.
- My RP as Chemist is the craziest. Yet, the most professional towards technical/skilled issues.
Indeed, my RP can't be the same, for my character, for each role. You can't expect a cannon fodder to have more tactical insight than a Squad Leader, and shits like that.
The only role which I can accept to THINK ABOUT evaccing, is the chemist. I don't evac, never.

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
- What occupation do you always gun for/can't live without when playing as a Marine?
Smartgunner, always and forever.
- What other occupations do you enjoy playing besides your "main"?
Almost always enjoy Squad Leader and Commander. Just getting into PO but enjoying it a hell of a lot. Squad engineer and medic are in the weird position where they're sometimes really fun, sometimes absolutely miserable. I tend not to do those that much.
- Which occupation are you the most R O B U S T at?
I always put in work with the smartgun, but I like to think I'm at my best when I'm Squad Lead and I have a competent command staff to work with. As with everything though, it's hit or miss.
- What occupation do you wanna try but are too pussy to? (Squad leader? Specialist? Staff Officer? Executive Officer?)
I dread the thought of being a doc. There's a lot more pressure put on the shipside medical staff than there is on /tg/ medbay staff, which is the med code I'm most familiar with. I don't want to be the new doctor that has to refer to the wiki for a larva surgery, botches it and costs that marine his or her life.

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
Typically main: CO
Other occupation: MP and doctor
Most robust: None. I am the best at being a corpse. Instead, I play CO attempting to create an arr pee experience and trying to give everyone a purpose. It tends to fail horribly, other than one memorable op, which I am still proud of months later.
Want to try, but too pussy? I am too pussy to find an interesting way to play MT because it is legitimately a depressing experience.
Occupation never played? Squad lead. I tend to stick to Almayerside stuff, and communicating down the hierarchy seems to work well enough when I do it. (and I am SO getting off the CO list now that I have admitted I never played SL!)
