I was the XO and I thought I had fired it by accident as we were both looking at the console (I was adjusting the coords to the ones being yelled). Thought I had killed 25 Marines and just accepted my death. (It was actually 30 according to admins.

Last night, RO kept spending points on mortar shells instead of things like metal and ammo.
So we managed to push to t-fort, but out position was flimsy; it could've gone either way.
Then the fucking mortar man launched a flash shell right on my squad.
Everyone was stunned for quite some time, and xenos just casually walked in and slaughtered so many marines - including a medic and two engis, and a squad lead.
We got pushed back hard to lz1 after that.

Ain't got a picture, but I once heard over comms that someone gave a bad laze, and CAS fired a Fatty. Killed at least 15, almost half of the Marine force.
