malfunctioning synthetics?

Just curious if this is ever a thing or if its something you have to Ahelp or event. Interesting in making a whitelist for one anyway as im keen to RP the role as it looks pretty fun.

Side note which ill make a git for later. Something along the lines of a malfunctioning synthetic response team that try to take over the ship but in very clever and mind games ways.

If you are a malfunctioning Synth, you will be told by a staff member when the round starts. It's rare though, due to the fact that 1 skilled synth with a rifle can kill around 30 marines fairly easily.

It's pretty clear in the programming guides that they do not malfunction. This would be a pure admin event and I don't think it would happen very frequently at all. Definitely look over some of the apps, people have had your idea before and been denied quite quickly.

Thanks just looking for some clarification. Actually interested in properly playing one after having fairly decent RP with one while i was MP

How? I know synths are a bit stronger than humans and can repair themselves but that seems a little ridiculous

synths can solo elite ravs with a machete. they're really tough and really fast, and I'm pretty sure they can't paincrit

What this guy said. It's very explicitly mentioned in the Weyland-Yutani brochures that Weyland-Yutani brand Synthetics are never prone to any sort of malfunction or unintended behaviors. Implying otherwise would simply be madness.
