Petty things you hate as a marine
You know what really grinds my gears and I have no idea why?
Officers going by their Nickname in command announcements.
I have no clue why but this always makes me really disgruntled for some reason

Well it is absolutely understandable, nickname is something your friends call you, there is no nickname in your passport and actually going by nickname as an officer should be even rule violation (low rp).Thatnewguy1 wrote: ↑19 Jan 2018, 12:50You know what really grinds my gears and I have no idea why?

When people leave plasteel barricades open, especially when the barricade's in a crucial location (road from nexus to hydro). I'm usually okay with some open barricades that are inside the FOB, but not the outer ones.

Cowards, incompetent doctors, players who insult others for no reason, insubordination, meta-buddies and engineers who do not place sentries in advantageous locations.
Honestly, I do not hate any of these, so to speak. I just find these 'things' partially unnecessary in a round. After all, I am immune to salt and its side effects.

People cutting me in RO line and saying they didn't do anything, this altercation usually ends me up in brig to miss the first drop with the satisfaction of knowing I never let anyone cut me. No one.

Re: Petty things you hate as a marine
Getting ignored by people, like req slamming the shutters in your face after you ask very politely if they still have any attachments.
I hate it. Telling me they are too busy takes time away from their job and a bit of rudeness never hurt anyone, so its petty and I hate it.
Oh, and being stuck in cryo bags, you become really low priority quick, and sometimes I just wanna die so I can do something else.

Re: Petty things you hate as a marine
1. Getting shot in the face with AP
2. Other marines watching as I'm neuro stunned and dragged off into the darkness
3. Marines walking into the firing line and then complaining about getting shot
4. Marines looting my ammo belt while the medics treating me
5. Being left for a hunter to decap me so a lone marine can escape (Looking at you random charlie PFC)
And that about sums it up not counting the usual shenanigans that occur during the round.

Re: Petty things you hate as a marine
Don't you hate it when you're shooting at something, and suddenly someone walks infront of you and eats bullets at point blank - and it breaks their bones? Even through armor with normal rifle ammo?
I do. I'm so sorry.
Bonus points if they turn around and go "DUDE! FUCK YOU!" like they didn't just walk infront of you. Then limp off to a medic.
Bonus points if you somehow fucking decap him even with a helmet on. It happened to ME. ONE BULLET. ONE!
Extra points if they shoot back. And get banned.
Extra points if they bash you with their rifles.
EXTRA points if you are standing still.
EXTRA EXTRA points if you're using a sniper or a stationary MG position that requires you to stay still and fire in very predictable patterns. Which at the same time does enough damage to make people scream at you at steadily increasing volumes.
And let's not mention when you're trying to fit into a tight space with a group of marines. On help intent. You will shuffle forever until either one gives up and lets you through. And it sometimes becomes a matter of spite where you want to be the one to go first, especially if you're B18 and or are using a flamer.
Bonus fucking points if they push you into fire or boiler corrosive gas with said 'help' intent.
Extra points if you get swapped into the way of a crusher that is charging from a nearby marine, and you get destroyed as a result.
Extra points if YOU get a marine rammed by a charger by being in the way of their movement. On help intent.
Doctors/medics fighting over patients like they were back in the country. I shit you not, people do this. They drag people away from you and then ARGUE that they should treat them, for absolutely no reason, and then get ANALLY ANNIHILATED by not getting their way. ESPECIALLY DOCTORS.
Bonus points if they end up overdosing the patient, somehow. Then give up saving them.
Extra points if they mix inaprovaline and Dylovenine and end up overdosing the guy on tricord so hard you need a sleeper to make a dyalisis from the sheer amount of bullshit in their system.
Extra points if you're giving someone a painkiller, and another medic walks along and gives them MORE painkillers. Which causes an OVERDOSE.
EXTRA, EXTRA points if they forget to use their roller beds and don't splint a person's ribs, which causes them to fucking die when dragged too much.
Like, goddammit woman, lemme do job!

I mean, if im being super fucking petty about it, i hate marines who dont know the difference between a Line Formation and Column Formation.
But its not like I expect everyone who plays to be experts in military knowledge.
