If only half the platoon the PFCs respected those simple principles, it would be USCM major every round.

Took me several months to get decently master all those things, figuring most things by myself, failing many times like a dipshit, could have been way faster if I had your thingy at that time.

Sum gud shit.

I grant you 9 tacticool points, and 2 breath masks !

Most players are too busy trying to be the main protagonist instead of acting like a real Cog of War

another thing to note if you don't mind losing your flares is if you take the pistol mag pouch you can carry buckshot shells in them. (Get the bigger one from req and carry up to 6 spare shells,)

Nice, added to the manual.

EDIT: Added a patch at the end of the manual for those who believe they have what it takes to be considered Vanguard and put it in their signature. Just snowflakey aesthetic shit.

Was it the pistol pouch or the pistol ammo pouch?

Another attachment loadout that's particularly good for new players and/or those concerned with QoL and having a well-rounded, reliable weapon (especially those PFCs taking only one weapon).

Magnetic Harness:

Harness is shit.

If you get to loose once or twice your gun. You're just dead/captured. Plus you can't qf or rds.

I believe that harness is only good for medics/engis that roll with a shotgun, harness should only ever be used for your shotgun really. In this case for vanguard loadouts, it's better to spend the 2 attachments you get as a PFC on something for your rifle, as it is your main weapon, while your shotty is for support. Putting a harness on your rifle is a newb trap.
I play "Mudder Plantagenet" and that's it, no fancy quotes or anything.

All you need is a rifle with a flashlight on, and it works great. Just pack in AP. Put HIDPs in the UGL to clear out sticky purple goops. And even if you lose it, it's no big deal.

Just don't hit a friendly.

Harness is great for one (1) of your weapons.

It's definitely a lower priority if you have two weapons, hence recommending it for a one weapon PFC (because a satchel filled with tools/splint, gauze and injector filled medikits/gas mask/stretcher/other utility items can be easily worth the loss of a weapon).

I've tried something along those lines; no QoL. Such a PITA to play around one weapon in my hand at all times, especially when I can't even fire that weapon one handed. I don't think it's a bad loadout, in fact it's quite good, but when I'm taking a satchel to do utility, I need my hands free up, or I at least need to be able to fire my weapon.

Personally I've been having success going bayogyromag buckshottie as a utility PFC, with a large pistol pouch to quickdraw shells from; it may be because I'm used to this loadout from playing field engineer so much, but it is quite effective, and interferes minimally with doing support stuff.

BTW, how is EB + QF + Gyro? Is there too much spread on the single fire to make it worth a shit?

You get judt enough accuracy to hit at 5 tiles or 6. But then recoil fuckd you up when you aim downed target. And forget about runner interceptions and you'll miss when chasing on the same line.

Though you know what they say. Prevail through superior fire. Also try gyro slug with qf smg ap to finish after a stun. Didn't try yet but can work I believe.

Added Sur's last loadout to the manual and added the most basic Spec/smartgunner tactics to the manual.

Regarding the recent events, I'm updating the AP Ammo box from not needed to IMPERATIVE

Who needs the RO when you can use your Smartgunner prep vendor to refill the powerpack yourself.

I do this shit all the time. Charging to my death is the one of the best things about being a PFC. It means I don't have to give a fuck about surviving, I just gotta kill as much as I can.

There have been many times where I'll charge into a cave and fire two underslungs at the boilers just to allow the marines to push. But they never do...

Since the major influx of new players and summer marines in the game, I'm bumping this shit back to the front page, please fucking read it and learn something.

I've updated some things that were outdated because this was made pre-xeno buff.

If I'm missing something please point it out and I'll add it.

Good hunting.

EDIT: LOADOUTS ARE OUTDATED AS SHIT, DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THOSE FOR THE MOMENT.

I also reccomend giving TopHatPenguin's firing lane guide a visit after you read this if you're new.
