The CLF Siege That Brought The Server Down

Today's siege upon the BIG RED LZ1 was an amazing battle on both sides. Lots of tears, blood and sweat was shed during this siege. Props to my fellow marines for making every inch the CLF gained a nightmare to behold.

Props to the CLF players on their tenacity and constant push despite spawning in with inferior gear.

I wasn't able to get any good Screenies of the frontlines but I did nab this one just as the server died from possibly extended use of Mortar and/or CLF spawn spamming.

I wasn't there for the whole match but it was very fun.
Can anyone tell me how the mortar use went? Did both sides have one? How'd it go?

I was part of the alpha squad but behind of the main push, we were all heading to research and i could hear gunfire and explosions coming from there.

So, i finally get there and i begin to drag the wounded away, when suddenly a shell lands a few tiles south, a bunch of people scream "MORTAR" in comms but the SO overwatching alpha says "It's FF".
So i find a medic just outside research so i begin to bring the wounded there, the moment i get back inside another mortar shell lands exactly where the medic and the wounded PFCs were.

10/10 PTSD lol. But seriously CLF was an excellent weapon of suppression and just the sound of the shell dropping would make marines run away randomly, so GG.

Was told I did pretty well, too, so that's a plus.

i joined just before the server perished. managed to get to the barricades in time to shoot down a clf right before he tossed a grenade, meaning he fell over and his own primed grenade landed on him, finishing him off. felt pretty slick until even more came and bombarded me with firebombs that burnt me to death

what caused the server to die so bad, though? all the bullet casings?

I had a great time. Right before the crash I picked up the radio off a fallen Charlie medic (Kayla) and started shouting at the marines to go home and lay down their arms in their own channels.
