Unga's Code of Honor (03/04/18)

This is the unga's code of honor. Anyone who is an unga will be REQUIRED to follow it (along with the server rules). It's the equivalent of Marine Law for standard marines, except it's included as something you MUST follow in the rules. If you're [redacted] IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK IT FOR UPDATES BEFORE YOU PLAY AS AN UNGA.

Honor Code applies to all Ungas actively killing and on the battlegrounds. The Honor Code is granted to specific classes of scum which designates which intent or weapons they may use upon that target.
Please note, classification applies to individuals and groups.
• Commie scum = NO explosives, fireguns only, throwing knives are acceptable.
• Civilian scum = NO fireguns, knives or anything sharp or blunt must be used (chest hits only).
• Rebel scum = NO AP, fireguns and melee weapons are allowed. (chest hits only).
• Xeno scum = NO restrictions, OB's, CAS, explosives, everything is allowed.

Unga Honor Duels

Ungas may challenge other ungas or scum (mostly humans) they deem worthy to "honor duels". The challenger MUST provide the challenged with an appropriate hand-to-hand weapon. Ranged weapons are FORBIDDEN against each other (you may use a ranged weapon to chase away unruly observers or people who interfere). The duel must be fought as honorable as possible, but is to the death (however, it's recommended that if you knock them down or disarm them, you let them recover if they can before a final blow).
Standard Humans and Xenos CANNOT challenge an Unga, constantly pursuing an Unga with melee weapons demanding to fight a duel will label you as Xeno Scum.
(An Unga fighting someone 1 vs 1 with melee does not necessarily mean its a duel or even honor duel, the scum could be Xeno Scum and subjected to getting AP burst-fired to the head and then burnt to death).

Mercy
Those who defeat an Unga in a fair killing (or honorable duel) and show Ungas mercy are to be considered our equals. You must bestow them with a reward or gift (EAT bar for example) and alert fellow Ungas of their victory. Ungas may also show mercy to an honorable scum who fought well or out-smarted the Unga, the Unga may take an item or limb from said scum as a souvenir and allow them to live.

Self-Destruct
It is considered very scrubby for your body to scavenged and your stuff looted. The most honorable death is a chemical OD and MUST be done whenever death or capture is close. The loss of life, even if many other wounded and busy doctors are surrounding you, is not your concern. However, use your judgement upon self-destruct as generally it adds more RP to die on the battlegrounds rather than ODing up and making the doctors have to heal your sorry ass.

Code Violations: Those who break the code are scrubs, and no longer considered to be an Unga. (You'll be bwoinked from being Unga ever again) - EXCEPTION: For RP events, Admins (not mods) may authorize a single ungla to function as a "nerd" and be bullied by the other ungas.

EXCEPTION: Admirals (A "super-special" type of Ungas that is granted by Head staff to exceptional Unga Players) may make exceptions to this code for role-play or game progression reasons with Admin direction (meaning, an Admin will tell YOU which parts you can ignore; don't ahelp asking to murderbone) similar to how Weyland Liaisons can sometimes get exceptions to the standard rules. These will be reserved primarily for ROLE PLAY SITUATIONS. So, if you see an Unga breaking the honor code, there is a chance it may be legal. Your best bet is to wait till the end of the round (or the unga’s death) to see what the staff say about it. Normally, if they were given special exceptions, they'll be set as a traitor and have specific goals (which should appear after the round).
