What are some good moments you've had with preds as a marine?

As for me, the one moment that i can really think of was about three or so days ago on ice, i was the delta spec and had the scout loadout,

While we were clearing out hydro a pred came up to me, uncloaked and pointed at my cloak, asked where i got it from and then cloaked and uncloaked so did i, then i said, well we made it, then some charlie marine i think it was came over and gave him some stuff i think, all in all, was fun

There was one time when I was an MP in the CIC checking in with the Officers when somebody suddenly got pushed around by a cloaked predator. We realized something was there shortly after and just about everyone started firing wildly at it while the Pred just ran around trying to avoid the massive crossfire. I think it was banking on us all killing each other with FF, but we managed not to hit each other too much, so when someone decided to come in from the outside, it ran off. I ended up moving into the area between the airlocks so if it came back through, I'd know about it before it'd reach the CIC. All in all, it ended up being an ever-increasing set of mindgames as we tried to outsmart each other, but I think it ended up slipping away into maintenance to recover and I never saw it again.

I once managed to kill some xenos after the FOB was overrun on big red, i then ran down to the hospital alone and scared thinking some xeno was gonna follow me out. A pred had been following me and met up with me in the hospital where he uncloaked, i asked him what he was, but he just pointed at me. I decided to follow him, where we then went up to the FOB that had just been overrun, and we confronted the xenos. We then had a standoff with the xenos before we engaged them. I died and the pred kept fighting, but in the end he had to self destruct. Kinda cool now that i look back at it.

I also once saw a bunch of marines shooting at a pred who was limping away, i shot at him once and he self destructed. Since i had only just arrived and was kinda far away, i was the sole survivor if i remember correctly. Some other pred then came up, healed me and gave me a ceremonial knife. Even though i didn't really do anything to deserve it.

Got kidnapped by a pred and forced to be their slave, after killing a crusher with a boot knife when it attacked the lodge they made me their apprentice and gave me a gladiator sword.

I once killed the fuck out of a pred with a gyro sniper rifle. He was dragging our wounded back to us because we were losing or some shit. So I chased his ass and with a sniper rifle in one hand and a gyro shotty in the other I the little bitch down to the ends of the earth.

Each time he got close I buckshot his ass. When he tried to run away to plasma cast me I just sniped him till he finally went horizontal and died. Looted the fuck out of the scrub just for the puss puss XO to loot my fresh gear, the cock sock.


Other time I killed a runner really good and got a knife awarded to me, and the meat from the kill. A different two times I got to have some sick melee 1v1 fights. Those are fun. Preds try and kidnap me for those more often plz.

I am always the one near the preds RPying with them and stalking their ass.
One time i met a pred on Big Red, he was cloaking around the FOB and i was the Scout Spec, we were friends and stuff, i showed him my thermal cloak and he showed me some of his weapons.

Or one time on Prison delta was tasked to search the crashed ship. We opened a door and we found a lodge with 4 preds. I stayed with Dante near the lodge to cover Delta's escape if needed. We ended up talking with the preds and i gaved them some gifts and we became friends.

I wish I could say this was a RP one but...Nope. It's one of those fuckup moments.
I was SL of Charlie and we moved to go and scout north of LZ1. Of course the pred lodge was there and we got engaged shortly after we did our duty and checked it out. Lost nearly ten Charlie marines and fell back because you can't shoot what you can't see in a winter wasteland. At this point Command RP was basically along the lines of: Retrieve your wounded Charlie. You'll get aid. We think the cloakers killed the colony. So, we rallied up and went back to try and save our lost wounded and gather our dead marines. Of course they were butchered. This time we OB'd the lodge because...enough losses. Of course this didn't work and the preds had gone into full combat against us at this point. No holds barred. The tides were even more upped when basically most of the other three squads showed up to the fight...The battalion got halved with I'm guessing half of the remaining wounded.

Did I mention even an hour in we had only one case of seeing a xeno (runner) at this point?
Yeah. Rest of the round went as you'd expect. Complete FUBAR of a operation.
That was probably one of the only rounds I actually tried IC committing suicide in front of everyone > then xenos showed up and I charged them.

The first ever Predator fight I had was on Big Red. We had basically slaughtered all the Xenos and I was wandering around when I bumped into a Predator attempting to honor duel a marine who was accompanied by a medic, but instead of watching the fight happen, when the fighting broke out I grabbed my shotgun and came to assist this single marine. He had just tackled the Predator down when I walked up and pumped the Predator with three or four buckshot shells while the medic and marine screamed at me to stop, and then I ran away and fired for a little bit until the Predator caught up to me and murdered me with his clan sword. At about this moment another group of marines showed up and finished the wounded Predator off when they saw what he was doing to me, and the round ended as I was defibbed and rescued by a medic.

This fight was a win in my book.
