What roles should the extra engineers play?

Now that a squad has an extra engineer, three total now, what role do you all think each should play within a squad? Gimmicks, loadouts, etc.

Scavenge metal from anything, chairs racks anything that can be made into metal needs to be disasembled.

Go to areas that saw combat and move unneeded cades to the front if it isnt too far away.

Get the medi-vendors working.

Keep the cades at 100%.

Loot other dead engies.

Bother RO for metal, plasteel, and claymores.

A good engineer is a busy one.

While those are great tips I meant more along the lines of ideas for what roles each engineer can take at the beginning of a round.

I thought you meant what should you do as a late join engi.

Decon pre-existing doors and move them around and set them up as walls. Also move filing cabinets and maybe walls if you got the time/welding fuel.

You can man a mortar if there's extra points. Try not to kill the rest of the squad though.

Another idea is: 1 engineer on building, 1 on salvaging/moving stuff around, and 1 on trapping areas with mines/defending the other engies. While building does go faster with more than one engie, having one person act as the "creative director" for the FOB usually results in a better constructed and well thought out FOB.

Yeah many conflicting ideas often lead to a hodgepodge.

Two engineers can take all of the building materials and the third can dedicate themselves to the M56D, that's one viable spread.
Two engineers can take everything and hole up at FOB while the third fixes power/ comms/ scouts with the squad.

Two engineers can take everything except the mines and the third can take all of those and try to snag the RO's stock and become lord of the landmines.

Have them act as a frontline engi, constructing cades and such. It is such a under-staffed role, most of the time it is better leaving resin walls as cover because no engi wants to get their ass out of the FoB.

I love being a frontline engineer, moving cover up as we push forward makes or breaks an assault.
