Metal Flasks

So this is another semi-newbie question. I see a lot of the food vendors have metal flasks for the marines to take. What exactly do you use them for? I'm in the understanding you can mix drugs into them but the average marine doesn't get any to use.

Used to be useful for storing hot coco that would heat you up on ice colony, now they can't really be used for much. Maybe tell a doctor to fill it with chems or something.

Well, booze has obvious effects (makes you cool, gets you arrested), but doesn't coffee have a very slight stun resistance and speed boost for a short amount of time? I've tried many times, but I haven't been able to quite prove that coffee can save you from neurospam.

Nah. Devs removed coffee stun resist a long time ago.

They're reagent containers. There is a bug going on with them that doubles the reagent intake for some reason though. It's not for roleplay, you use them for that reason, same with cigarettes.

Leaving with a flash full of drugs from your friendly doctor should be standard issue, I like hyperzine.

Alcohol holds painkiller. And painkiller unit from different source cumulates. So if you get a mix of strictly every painkilling product and calculates its metabolizing speed to the same amount of time, your flask could have the strongest painkilling effect, without possible OD, after few seconds.

That's a bit if chemistry but felt like I had to share that.
