So good. I love the .45. I play RO alot and NO ONE ever asks for it. I've only seen people ask for it a handful of times.

But then when I ask for it while playing marine, the guy gives me 2 magazines for it and refuses to give more.

I want all the .45 ammo.

While playing RO, I like it put the .45 in a pistol holster, fill the holster with ammo and send it in a supply drop.

I wonder if my beautiful .45s with extended barrels and RDS' just sit around in the bottom of the chest, and no one ever uses them.

I guess I'll never know.

Don't put an extended barrel on it, the damage dropped from that attachment isn't worth it

most pistols are trash. there are 3 pistol tiers. the .45 lands in the middle tier. the only pistols that are in the passable tier are the Mateba and the Mod88

The .45 is great. It actually hurts T-1s quite some as it fires "heavy pistol bullets". M4A3 AP is also another comparable choice of a sidearm. But the .45 has a lot more stopping power.

The only better pistol would be the mod88.

But yeah. Don't put a extended barrel on it. Why would you do that.

What you need for it is the laser sight and a rail flashlight. (maybe an RDS? I don't fancy attachments on sidearms.)

Seriously though, I love its 'unique' sound and the fact maybe four other guys TOPS have it on them down there let alone use it. It's not bad either for just popping off some gangsta shots.

If I am not using my Mateba, I'm using either the .45 or the 88. As both of are fucking god tier and I LOVE the .45 as a marine, shit actually murks the T1's and scares the T2's.

Only thing is, I dont know what attachments to put on either of em.

You should be BE'ed for putting a BC on a pistol. Not only are you removing a BC from its rightful place on a rifle or shotgun, but you are also lowering the accuracy of a gun that already misses half the time.

RDS (or rail flashlight) and lasersight is the way to go.

well .45 is rarer for sure. it's not available in vendors for starters and barely any people have it.

The sound and recoil of the M44 is strong, but not its damage. It's weak as hell. If there's a gun that could use a buff, that's the M44.

.45 M4A3 is really good. Especially as pyro spec and you need to take down a rav/queen. I actually had some experience with that. Just load two mags into a queen and laugh.

Answer is simple for that, either no one knows that it exists or they don't know it's so good. Why? Because everyone sees pistols as useless weapons and i doubt anyone will disagree with that.

I took one as a SG last night and it was quite useful in keeping things off me while I was falling back to the FOB with no SG bullets. I just wish there was more ammo for it, though, since there's so little of it to begin with and getting more is nigh-impossible. Make it more possible for req to get ammo for and I could easily see it being a viable primary for someone like a medic who doesn't actually want to be in combat all that much.

Hi pistol expert here.

A good recommendation for a pistol are any pistols except the Holdout.

A full mag from any pistol can take out a T2 if you manage to land all bullets generally speaking that’s about 1/2 of the actual ammo usage would hit which is 4 out 8 bullets. T1’s can easily die with that mag however, but while the .45 is a good pistol, it’s slow and inaccurate.

Attachment wise
CQC - Bfa, BC, RDS, wielded

REGULAR - LS, QF with an EB if wanted and wielded.

ACC - LS, RDS wielded.

I can recommend you those but due note that the .45 usage it’s abit risky. I’ve used the .45 pistol plenty of times with a Large Pistol Magazine pouch with the regular set or without attachments. I generally found that T1’s would die or atleast enter crit within 4 to 6 bullets. T2 take an entire mag. T3 Mature Ravager took 3 mags with the CQC set up. It’s more of a hassle with that pistol on xenos as the .45 is better off against humans than with xenos due to the ammo.

You are better off killing only T1’s. You have better chances on relying on a holster of regular M4A3 ammo than a large magazine pistol pouch of .45 magazines.

Mod88 is the better pistol with the VP78 as a king pistol

Mateba isn’t as good as people say, it’s better off as a HvH pistol than a Xeno killer, it’s why Deathsquad have them instead of PMC.

M4A3 (A good scare pistol if you managed to get Incendiary.) is a decent pistol along with the M44 (It’s rarer mag PMWX can scare xenos especially as damage is higher.)

The highpower pistol is scary and also a weird one.

Always use the Holdout Pistol with a BFA BC and QFA it is the god of lies.

A full mag from any pistol will not kill a T2, even if you land all the bullets. I'm referring to the m4a3 9mm, but the m44 may be viable if you're able to land multiple shots on a xeno. Super low chance of actually killing the t2, though.

Mateba is very viable for T2s or lower, if you can land the shots of course. I witnessed the CO on the 4 hour LV round yesterday nearly kill an elite Hunter with a vanilla mateba, given he only fired 2 shots. It CHUNKS T2s health when they're hit by it.
