So I recently played a round on Prison Station as CMP. Had 3 MPs, so I figured I would enable them to have some fun. Normally rounds as MP are a bit boring after most of the marines are planetside - mostly boring patrols until some survivors show up, or someone starts shenanigans. Instead, I let one MP volunteer to go down with the first trasport. Usual caveats applied - you're not the one going to shoot things, no riot gear, stray no further than FOB, etc. Riley volunteered and really made the round for the survivors - talking with a few of them initially, going down to find their lost friend, being the person they could trust even while brigged for assaulting CMP, etc. In the end, everything worked out fine and fun - Riley stayed safe, everyone had fun, and none of that had a negative impact on things going on ship-side.
So I'd like to remind the CMPs and CEs that if you have people to spare it might be fun for them to be allowed to go planetside! Embrace the power of Yes . (within game rules of course!)
Requisitions unfortunately doesn't have much to do planetside and there is usually enough packing to do on the ship anyway, and as fun as a doctor performing abortions in the FOB would be, those might be too valuable to spare, so I guess there are limits to where this applies .

Was this the round that just ended?
If so, I observed this round and I followed you/your MP/and some of the survivors for a large part of it. It was different and very fun to watch! And I have to say, the MP you sent stationside did a great job RP-wise in talking to and dealing with the holed up survivors!

Having a good set of MPs on the ship can make RP and life in general go so much smoother. Kudos to all the MPs who aren't allergic to RP.

I was Vaughn that round and I was really surprised when I saw an MP picking us up. It immediately fueled the RP from the very beginning, instead of the classic "oh hey a survivor k go to the ship tell your shit to CL and don't bother us anymore" trend.ThePiachu wrote: ↑16 May 2018, 00:46So I recently played a round on Prison Station as CMP. And overall what came next was fun as hell, even after I spent a good hour brigged. We need more CMPs like you 10/10

Being the xo that round I feel sorry that I couldn't talk to that one survivor more, also I never got to see that other group of survivors. Glad that the mps had fun though.

So Loco, did someone bust you out of brig? I think I saw the timer of one of you still counting down without a prisoner in.
What else were you naughty survivors up to?

LOL No, I hit the light of my cell with my shoe, an MP named Jake came in and I faked I had hit my head with the light. He comes in says he can't see shit so I punch him but I don't weaken him. I somehow manage to escape but can't weaken the cop so I get tazed. Instead of adding time to my cell he shoves me in a new cell with only 10 mins when I had like 25 left. In shock.
