Guard your medical triages! It might just save your life.

What is a medical triage? (At least in my terms) It is a place where wounded are treated on the front line, and in CM it is quite a depressing place to be, but usually robust medics will keep marines alive and get them back up quickly or evacuated.
However, usually the medical triage is put in the back, almost immediately off screen of the front line and all of the marines shooting and fighting. Leaving the triage to be rarely EVER guarded and be a perfect place to flank and attack. Or if you're in a big confusing map like prison, a perfect place to cut off their escape routes, and usually medics don't have that big of a gun to do damage to a xeno.
Now the other day I experienced something quite humorous. While working on becoming an ancient spitter I flanked around the marine front line to find the medical triage. It had only two medics, busy with single patients at a time and quite literally almost no lighting except from the medics themselves, quite easy prey. So what do I do as a responsible xeno? Why, I start dragging off wounded marines while the medics watched me do it. Yelling in regular chat, "THIS IS MINE NOW THANKS! ALWAYS WANTED ONE!" Laughing my ass off as the marine screamed and cried for help, which none came, then I put them in a corner and went back for another one.
This time I thought that maybe the medics couldn't see me, so I went up to them and grabbed a marine who was talking to them and was definitely in their light who immediately called for help. One medic noticed and tried to single hand an SMG at me, so I spat at her and continued dragging this poor soul to salvation.

Finally four marines with pulse rifles and shotguns started to guard the triage. I still had my prey however and happily danced on them before killing them both.

What I am trying to say is. If you try to set up a place to do medical work. Leave a few marines to guard it, even if numbers are low, there is no reason for the triage to be left with only medics and their patients who are dying and need their support.

This is why medics need to either have sandbags around them or cades, If neither are possible. Flame thrower medics or guards work. Can't take a host if his cooked alive.

But then you can't be treated by medic if xeno drags you away for dancing on your face

It's quite the laugh though, just dragging off dying marines who are talking to medics and just laughing as you do.

Or you can have an experience like last night where a tank ran over 4 critted marines and a few medics while trying to flee the xenos.

It's a SL's job to make sure his men are safe. If your medics are being attacked while working with their men, you need to move them somewhere safer or make sure the area thet are in remains safe. If you take some steps your men will almost never be lost. Find a place for your medics to work in, have marines protect them if the area is poorly secured, and make sure they don't just start working right behind the front line because that could really cause problems if they need to fall back.

I mean it comes down to how much man power you have imo. You don't always have the extra men to spare. Plus, some medics do their medical triages so far back from the frontlines that it means people just can't do anything about it when they get cucked.

Even barricades can be broken, then it's my time to drag off injured marines for dance lessons
