As someone who is relatively new to the server, only having been here a couple months, I have already noticed a pattern in the actions of squads:

Alpha: The Alpha squad effectiveness depends entirely on the marines - be it themselves or other squads. They seem to get the most shit from other squads, especially Bravo and Delta, with the aforementioned squads often getting into fights with Alpha before Briefing. If the Marines have an overall good composition, Alpha should do acceptably.

Bravo: They're...what we've come to expect as 'eh' most of the time. They're the marines that aren't here for roleplay more than filtering orders, and they rarely listen to orders. They're often effective, to a degree, but they tend to not work as a full squad, and when they do, and aren't FOB, they're often wiped first.

Charlie: This is the opposite to Bravo. Charlie seems to be, rather heavily, the guys I can actually respectfully and easily roleplay with, and are, normally, most responsive to orders and easy to work with. There are always exceptions, but such applies to all squads.

Delta: This is the opposite to Alpha. How good Delta is depends entirely on the Hive composition. If the Hive composition is good, Delta is slaughtered during their mindless push. If it's bad, the round might end during their mindless push. They are unrespnsive to orders unless that order is 'push'.

Alpha: the guys who accidentally use hostage-taking mode on xenos. Will follow orders religiously until first contact with the enemy, at which point 40% of them will charge in and die instantly and the rest will flee back to the FOB without firing a shot.

Bravo: will have lost 80% of its fighting strength within half an hour of landing without encountering the enemy because they're assigned to permaFOB duty and people will get bored and wander off or SSD. When they see actual combat they will fail utterly because most of them will be tabbed out of the game and only tab back in when they hear bone-crunching. If assigned to do anything other than FOB will wander around in confusion, aimless and lost.

Charlie: Pink-haired Cowards. Have lengthy character bios describing identical 5'4 japanese women. Spend 10 minutes emoting at the first xeno corpse they find. Increasingly poisoned by Delta contamination, slowly transforming into Delta 2.

Delta: Throw a fit if assigned any order that doesn't involve immediate combat. Bigger than every other squad combined in lowpop. Contains the people who give themselves nicknames like "Shadow". Carried by a small core of good players(every delta thinks they are one of these, the vast majority are actually just cannon fodder), will be wiped out totally in 15 minutes if not enough of them are present.

No squad preference: Sophisticated and professional. Can fit in perfectly with any squad and immediately integrate themselves with its specialty. Don't need recognition or metabuddies, the satisfaction of a job well done is its own reward. Extremely handsome.

Reading the 6 previous posts really makes me want to punch you all. Hard.

Delta used to be the REAL cool kids, bullying other squads and being from VERY FAR more efficient than other squads.

Also if we nowaday look like we are suiciding it's because shooting from behind a cade won't kill a xeno that can regenerates unless it is dumb enough to stand still HENCD THE CHASES.

Until other squads understand that AND the meaning of cohesion, yes, delta will die trying to chase and finish a t3 because those 2 alpha 1 bravo 1 charlie will be too fucking affrais to push against 1 drone 1 runner and 2 sentinels carrying a crit t3.
