Current status of Delta squad - Where are the Delta Mains and who the fuck is this guy?

They aren't much good active marines since 2017-2018 winter rush, and far before.

Assuming you joined that early you never knew the 8 robust delta squad flanking with QF EB and UGL-stomping the queen and ravs with UGL hand-rethrows...

Yeah I see. Base in my observation I am memorizing who are the good marines in Delta for real but many players are new as well. Also I joined year 2015 but got banned for not understanding the rules.

I was there with the badass deltas man. Saw them, it was impressive stuff. Some of those guys just happen to hop on at the same time, and you can have a great round, even now. Not as many of those guys are around of course, but the badass delta vets are still out there. I think this is just how it goes, a cycle of players. Eventually these guys will learn it and become the new badasses. I’ve seen a few new faces that are super popular and robust in here nowadays, so it can happen!

A large amount stopped playing and marines had their firepower removed. Right now 5 marines in a line with rifles won't do much although we are supposed to have firepower. With UGL and QF EB the only way to break in was sending an equally organized xeno-squad. But, yeah. Now our guns barely hurt, individually.

Yeah I never said or implied it excluded anyone (But some Deltas, even the ones on that list can be pretty fucking hostile to the other squads), and when I used that post I wasn't referring to ye olde meta squads, I'm referring to the fact that this forum post exists and isn't in Acid Goop.

I was somewhat dissapounted.

Partially yes, but do remember that deltards, at their golden age, had proper weaponery that would make them far noticeable (aka robust). Even a robust player won't do much more than a grunt with a regular M41A and if he does more, it won't be enough of a difference to notice.

Also do keep in mind a robust xeno is far FAR FAR stronger than any marine at some point there will be no felt differance between a robust and a baldie marine.

Pounces and neurotoxs of used well is an instant kill and is extrelemly easy to land.

Think about it that way, a robust player is one than will fail less often his actions, aim better and manage his inventory better BUT as a xeno you won't notice any of this. A robust marine will also uses the maximum potential of marines weaponery, in terms of effectiveness.
On a DPS basid, QF EB had a huge potential and regular players would waste it. Though, a robusto would use it close to fully THEREFOR, would be considered robusto.

Nowaday, claymores (assisted) and M56D are the ONLY assets with high potentials, maybe some specialists.

That's why you won't see any more robustos oldschool.

Because current weaponery barely allows you to stand off.

I'm not very great at actually killing stuff, so I just spam my m41a into the darkness, and run cluelessly forward to get guys that are downed in deathsmoke.

People like Shamrock Dee are a good help to learn to play the right way, and I'm glad to have experienced muhreenz on Delta.

I joined quite recently the USS Alamyer crew so my opinion might be useless but I kinda like the current Delta. I've been joining the squad for around 2 month first as a PFC under the mentorship of Dolth and Kesserline trying to get a bit robust and stop to FF them. Compared to other squad, it's a totally unique squad in terms of gameplay, roleplay and group cohesion.

Clearly, I see myself continu as a Delta main because it's there that I enjoy the most CM. It's also there that I fand a lot of players willing to share usefull knowledge, help me to get robust ect... More important is the way deltas interract with each others. Each member is unique, know the others and all have total trust that help to hold the ground during long combat. In the contrary to squads like Alpha where your chances to be evacuated because of friendly fire and bald medics 80% of the fucking rounds, I really like how delta is currently organised with specialized players in all dimension of the game.

However,I did not know the "old Delta" and I'm still pretty bald so...

Thank you Nyx for pointing this out, it was not by intention. I just didn't happen to slam my screenshot buttons when we were together in Delta.

I've seen several people pointing out inclusion errors in Discord and here. No big, guys, just I don't have your char's or old Delta's chars from a front-on angle.

This chart belongs to Delta, if anyone wants I can upload the .psd and you can mess with it in Photoshop to make glorious Souto Castles.
