Corporate Liaison tricks and exploits

So, recently I played a bit of CL, and found a few tricks and possible exploits. I'd like to have people chip in whether those work as intended, or whether they should be patched:

1) You can conjure items out of your briefcase without leaving ANY marks

Very useful for distributing Ultrazine obviously - https://youtu.be/aVGP3Y3z6I4?t=528 . You do this by making sure both of your hands are full when ordering an item. The item will drop straight onto the floor. I had Tess Greed confirm the items have no forensic markings on them - https://youtu.be/aVGP3Y3z6I4?t=4347 . Feels like an exploit to me, especially if you casually drop Ultrazine bottles in squad mess or prep.

2) You can alter your fingerprint records at a whim

Useful if you want to throw MPs off your trail - https://youtu.be/aVGP3Y3z6I4?t=2045 . They'd have to get your real prints to be able to identify you.

I'd personally have the computer at CL's office be able to view the records, but not able to alter them perhaps? Or make it so that there are logs of edits viewable by the MPs to make these changes more evident. More of a trick than an exploit otherwise - you can still get in trouble, and if someone finds out, it's possibly more jailtime!

3) You can create an ID to upgrade your own ID to all access

The CL can give another ID the ability to edit other IDs. Meaning they can alter their own ID to have all access - https://youtu.be/aVGP3Y3z6I4?t=2202 . If an MP calls you out on it, tell them "you've always had all access, you're the CL". Unless they are really on the ball, they won't know it's not true.

I've also tested whether you can get some gear with the ID - luckily, devs were on the ball and no, you can't vend anything that's not from an actual "vending machine" with limited stock - https://youtu.be/aVGP3Y3z6I4?t=3789 (aka "just because I have smartgunner access, doesn't mean I can get smartgunner gear"). Same with operating some machines - https://youtu.be/aVGP3Y3z6I4?t=3143 . Just because I have a CMO ID doesn't mean I can operate an autodoc. Good stuff. I can still make spacedrugs though, I guess those machines should be fixed up - https://youtu.be/3LgcV8z1VXM?t=2625 .

It feels a bit like an exploit still - perhaps no created ID should have the ability to alter other IDs. You have enough people around that have that access you probably don't need to add that ability to created IDs?

4) Being able to destroy evidence in recycler

It's probably intended - the CL can go into the recycler at any time basically and recycle whatever incrimidating evidence he has - https://youtu.be/aVGP3Y3z6I4?t=2338 . Not sure if you'd leave any evidence on the leaver either. So unless you're caught in the act, you can destroy stuff that would incriminate you without much problem. Possibly leaving the recycler belt on to have a handy way of disposing of evidence from anywhere can also get you into trouble when someone decides to jump in for funzies.

So, what do you think? Which of these are "working as intended" and which ones are "exploits"? Any other CL "abuseable" mechanics you know of?

A good CL keeps his mouth shut regarding CL tricks to not draw attention to his corporate brethren.

A good player is willing to discuss any trick and report what they find, even if it gives them an advantage, just to make sure the game is fair for everyone.

Hmm, apparently the pill bottles are CL-ID locked now. So I guess #1 is a moot point now.

You can ask marines to bring you gloves. On LV there are leather ones in hydro and I guess they don't leave fingerprints.

Just hang around the Medbay. You will have a squad medic change their gloves and leave their squad gloves on the counter sooner or later.
